So..is anybody watching House....because I thought yesterday's

Well, Huntington’s is incurable, so she won’t change on that front. It would be interesting if she saved him.

Polite dissent (a blog run by a doctor) found yesterdays episode to have, “the sloppiest (medical) writing I have seen in a House episode in a long time, if not ever.” Even I, with no medical experience, noticed how inconsistent the medical writing was last night.

i have always been a house fan, but i am really losing interest. i did like the bellhop character introduced last night! i feel they have strayed a bit from the medical focus. the relationships used to be a bit interesting, but the whole wilson/house/cuddy thing has just about worn me out. i do like the foreman/taub roommate plot.

Wilson has been reduced to walking around wringing his hands a lot. Love Amber. I was sick when they cancelled “Joan of Arcadia” so glad to see her pop up on House. I would like to see them develop her character more. What were we to make of the cowboy’s reaction to her coming on to him? Was it “he’s just not that into her”?

With the season finale coming up, it’s time to revive this.

What a weird season! Last week’s episode, where House did a bit of self-surgery, was so dark that I wonder what they’re possibly going to come up with for the finale. I have a feeling it’s going to be a cliff-hanger ending, with House’s job, or life, hanging in the balance. Or maybe his medical license, what with everyone knowing that he stole the rat-drugs. And did you catch Cuddy’s face when she agreed to observe the surgery? After all he’s put her through, she still can’t say No to him. PPTH is not a happy place right now. :(

I just saw that on hulu. WTH?
I hate how they are making Wilson into an mother hen.
He deserves a better part than that.

And, did I hear yesterday that Lisa Edelstein will not be returning next season?

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Lisa-Edelstein-Leaving-House-1033199.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Wow! That was some kind of season finale. I had no idea what was coming until he ejected Wilson from the car. I know they are coming back for one more season, but I don’t see how they can start a new season anywhere but the mental hospital or from jail and I didn’t like those episodes in the mental hospital the last time they started there. It was pretty rare to see House admit to feelings when he told Cuddy that he was hurting. It was as dramatic as they could make it, but did they jump the shark?

I am sorry to see that Lisa Edelstein is not going to be on the show…

It pi@@ed me off when she got pregnant with Ben Covington’s son, but I have grown to like her quite a bit.

I have no idea where the show is going next year…No idea…

Yeah, I wonder what they can possibly do short of putting House in prison…or maybe just house arrest…Would this actually be his first criminal conviction?

The leg and the drugs and the pain have always bothered me. It always bothers me when someone “confesses” to being a prescription drug addict, like it’s this moral failing…when they are taking the drugs because of chronic severe pain. We can’t expect people to live life in severe pain if there are drugs that have been developed to relieve the pain.

I’m pretty sure that IRL House would have had his leg amputated many years ago. I’ve heard of quite a few accident victims whose limbs were “saved” only to have them amputated in future years.

I have wondered why House’s leg hasn’t been amputated…

Dr Taub is in big trouble…I like his story line…

Yeah, I like Taub’s story line because he’e the least physically attractive of the group. It would be boring if Chase was in the same situation.

I must be shallow…I did not love that episode. I have to say I am getting really bored (frustrated) with the drug addiction thing. I know it happens in real life…maybe that is why I don’t want to see it every week on House.
I do love the Taub story! I don’t mind the every week House solves the problem in the last 5 minutes…it’s TV!
I think an amputation
would make a great story line for next year…there are plenty of issues surrounding that to make a very good season!

Amputation does not always resolve pain. That would certainly send him (further) over the edge.

I didn’t understand the beginning of the episode in relation to the end. Whey was it dark? Who did Cuddy have to get to the hospital? Maybe I just missed a moment or two, but was confused when the end in NJ didn’t match the beginning.

And I find the Taub story line convenient, trite and unbelievable.

Anyone know where House was at the very end of last night’s episode? I missed something-thought I saw palm trees on the beach?

I don’t think we’re meant to know. Just somewhere far away from NJ.

Thanks MyLB-that’s how I took it, until I realized I had been distracted by something briefly and might have missed a clue. I just hope it’s not a dream…

At least the show gave some justification for Cuddy to leave. I’d want to get as far away from House too.

I liked the chemistry between House and Cutty and don’t blame the romance plot for making the series jump the shark. But jump the shark it did, in other ways. Yesterday’s episode was preposterous. The only way I’ll watch next season is if the series dramatically changes. Sigh. It was great while it was great…

My intuition regarding House’s whereabouts is that he was having a delusion and was not actually on a beach. This would be dependent on him taking oxycodone like he did two seasons ago, though.

I was not too impressed with Huddy since I rarely felt that there was more to it than them just spending time together and having sex.

I’d say that House is more likely to be fired than Cuddy would be to quit.

I found last night’s show to be completely ridiculous, and though I’ve been a big fan in the past, I will now stop watching. House looks pathetic and uninteresting, and the story line is preposterous, as said here in other posts. Why bother?
