How can I get rid of new user tips and badges?

Been here for 10 years and used forums for your entire life? Hate the new user tips? Can’t stand the badging system patronizing you for your FIRST POST or FIRST LIKE? Turn them off! Tap on your profile icon in the upper right Tap on Preferences Tap on Interface Check “Skip new user onboarding tips and badges” Tap Save Changes Voila! No more tips or badges! UPDATE: Turns out this only turns off the first few badges that most of you have already earned. So thanks for reading my now-irrelevant post!
