Jennifer Lawrence has admitted that she had no idea that Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper rushed to her aid when she fell at the Oscars last night.</p>

<p>Lawrence took a tumble on her way up the stairs to accept the ‘Best Actress’ honour, prompting Cooper and Jackman to jump up to help her.</p>

<p>The Silver Linings Playbook star, who has blamed the trip on her dress, later told Entertainment Tonight that she didn’t realise the actors had come to help her.</p>

<p>“I just heard about that,” she revealed. “Because I didn’t know, because I was in my cloud of, ‘I want to die’. I had no idea - that actually fixes the whole moment!”</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Jackman suggested that Lawrence didn’t really need his assistance, saying: “I was feeling for her. I thought, ‘She’s caught in that thing and she’s falling into the abyss!’ But she was fine - she didn’t need me.”
