I think everyone was talking about how Stanford judges who gets admitted.

Oh. Ha. I wonder if it’s how my friend chose his college? He put the colleges into a hat and drew from that…[I wanted to double-slap his face when I found that out]
ugh. I hope that’s not the case.

lol diglett, that’s pretty awesome. He must have had such good college choices that it must not have mattered which one he decided to go to lol.

If I were him, I would have chosen Berkeley…ahah. He ended up picking San Diego which is another really nice campus…but still I like norcal.

So I’m watching sports with winter in them. Reminds me of how much I miss the snow :'[ I mean the snow snow that you have to shovel out of the driveway and plow in the streets in order to get anywhere, not just the snow that’s a couple hours away. Oh the good days after building a snowman and with the hot chocolate in hand and roasting marshmallows in the fireplace…
Sorry for that flashback xD

The past winter olympics, right…

Apolo Anton ohno!!!

I have no idea torcher. It’s whatever’s on channel 4.4 o___O I feel like so much of a fail right now xD
Nvm. The tv says Luge World Cup. FAILLLL

im gona try to catch up

lol
thanks prussia for correcting my post. i checked and harvard wasnt in questbridge so i changed the first one to yale and forgot to change the second time i wrote it.
btw. with questbridge, a few dont require you to commit, although most do (stanford doesnt require it)

i also agree with prussia about the admissions being so subjective that they just look random. i mean look at the people that come out of stanford. that cannot possibly be random and it likely has not ever been random given the group of stanford alumni.

We were also talking about our local natural disasters, no one’s said anything about hurricanes yet… those sound bad.

im from nj
the only disasters we get are electing stupid governors.

@ NJDS: lolololololololloloolololololololololl

First Corzine, now Christie, lol will the new guy be any better?

I’m supposed to be living at the bottom of Tornado Alley (North Texas) but I still haven’t seen even 1 tornado in my entire life.

They are quite a sight from far away, and can be very terrifying up close.

I’ve lived in the Bay Area my whole life, but I’ve never experienced an earthquake. Or I’ve never noticed them, at least. Chances are, there won’t be a significant one in Palo Alto at all for the next four years, so I wouldn’t worry.

How many posts will this thread have before Dec. 15? I suspect 5k+

corzine was aiight
i admit he wasnt amazing but he got things done. e.g. bringing us to the highest graduation rate in the country, improving teacher quality, making the govt efficient

christie is just a dumb@$$
all he wants to do is cut government-he doesnt care what. important school programs have already planned to close bc of his cuts in education
hospitals have closed bc healthcare will b cut
he is screwing up NJ and his term hasnt started yet
