There were lots of problems with the new fafsa application this year so schools didnât receive anything until a much later date than anticipated. Many schools had to push their commitment date back. Students were left waiting on their financial aid package to decide on the schools. It affected all students who applied for financial aid.
My thinking is even when Stanford was able to provide admitted students with financial aid packages on time, maybe it wasnât enough money and they were waiting on another schoolâs aid package to make the comparison so they had to ask Stanford for an extension therefore delaying the w/l movements. Anyhow even with all the delays, Iâm sure extensions are over by now so if we donât start seeing movements today or tomorrow, I must say it is not looking promising:(

Today there is a lot of movement in waitlists at all college. Main LACs and other top school. Maybe Stanford shows any movement today.
harvard released their official first wave today. so very very highly likely tmrw around 7pm est stanford would do the same
Admissions at Harvard told callers that they already have a list of people getting off w/l tonight. Wonder why Stanford never gave a straight answer
Harvard sent rejection emails today. They made full class 2028 according to reddit.

I didnât read about accepted students but read all about rejection letter came out.
Harvard is out, all the ivies have responded to their waitlist. Even yale has accepted students off the waitlist which is very rare. For last 5 years Yale has accepted Less than 25 students and they actings on the waitlist this year shows students have prioritise finance over Name brand. This means maybe Stanford would be facing the same problem and they might act very soon. Fyi accordingly to data and past years record we can assume 44 students coming out of waitlist. Guys be hopeful.

I donât know about waitlist. I have a student who got off waitlist a few years ago in july.
So i was surprised that havard sent out rejection letter to waitlist yesterday. Because it is little bit early. This mean they composed class 28 very fast ?
Yes they did mentioned that they had very high yield this year. Maybe they accept more students in the regular round.

Nope. Not sure about others 
No updates from anyone on the internet. We should now be ready for the fact that it is over. No acceptance this week while all the colleges had a lot of movement, simple means that Stanford has concluded their admissions. We will get a mail shortly stating the same.
Hope everyone is happy where they committed. I donât have anywhere to go to so this is it, I will go to some local university in my country or take another gap year which is highly unlikely.
It was a great run with you all. At the end of the day we reach where we are ment to, I guess I am ment to go no where. If you guys have any updates do let us know on this forum. Thank you
