I’m stressed, nervous, and scared. What if I get bad grades and ruin my chances at all good schools? What if I don’t score high enough on the ACT this coming year? What if I fail my AP classes and exams? What if I got a disease and ruined my GPA?
I know I’m not the only one!

Composure is important to success

That’s in the back of most CC high school juniors’ minds. But don’t waste your time being scared or nervous, start studying for next year’s classes…well it is kind of late to do that though. When does your school start? Mine starts on the 23rd I think. But there’s a new principal that added an 8th period to our day. Extending it from 7:40-2:40 to 7:40-3:35. So we all have to go choose an 8th period on the 12th.

Mine starts on the 19th. I still have to finish Precalculus and do summer English homework that I haven’t yet started. Fun!

The only summer homework we got was English. It was only to read Great Expectations, write a couple of papers about it, and answer some other questions. I knocked it out in the beginning of this month.

I wish I already did mine. I have to read two books and answer a bunch of questions. Busy work is what it is (not the reading, the questions).

Haha more like procrastinators unite!
I’ve finished my APUSH, and AP Eng. languge&composition summer assignments. But I still have AP Psych, AP Calc AB, and AP Bio to do… For psych it’s just some problems and reading, calc is 90 pages of math problems reviewing Alg1-Trig and the first day we have an exam on it all for review, and bio is 6 chapters with 3 worksheets for each chapter and the first class we have an exam on the six chapters- fun… Haha:)

Wow. Good thing I didn’t discover CC until the end of my junior year.

dylandlima, consider yourself lucky. my school only lets you take 6 periods. and for seniors, ASB takes one of those precious periods.
