It seems that Nicole has a mark on her back right from the start. Davonne (?) could get awful annoying awfully fast so…she may not stay. James and Frank (?) - I think they have the best potential of veterans to hang on.
Yeah I agree, but I think Nicole will get fairly far. How do you feel about Tiffany?
@kassh4 - I was not a fan of Vanessa & they are so similar but, I am tolerating her more- maybe she is not as manipulative (yet).
Vanessa played the game too aggressively IMO. She made too many deals and everyone found out about them. I don’t think Tiffany is going to make it that far everyone is going to figure out she is related to Vanessa (you can tell just by the voice) and they are going to pick up if she decides to play the same game as Vanessa.
TIffany reminds me so much of Vanessa - her voice, mouth, facial expressions, etc. - that it’s hard to think about liking her! I was surprised to hear she was a middle school teacher - since her sister is apparently a big time $$$ winner poker player!
I am pretty sure she is a high school teacher, but she told everyone she teaches middle school. Not sure how that helps her though. I am so surprised that they didn’t put up Paul instead of Paulie. It is week 1 Paulie could easily go home if they had put up Paul it would have been a win win. Also, wasn’t it kind of dumb of Paulie to not tell everyone he was Cody’s brother because he has a tattoo of his last name it was obviously going to come out. Also, it look very shady that he spilled the beans right after Nicole walked in.
At one point, I thought it was a ‘twist’ and they had dyed Vanessa’s hair brown & she was a 5th vet in the house- lol
@HiToWaMom I just googled and found that Big Brother started on July 5, 2000. I think a couple of years they played two seasons of it. I was hoping it didn’t start in 1995 since my kids were really young back then. It would have been child abuse! But, yes, I’ve never missed a season. It wouldn’t be summer without Big Brother.

I don’t really enjoy the secret alliance/betraying/manipulating part of the show (which they have to do to win, so I get that it’s necessary) but I really enjoy the games they have to play!

@kassh4 - I do not think the live feeds actually show the competitions but, like this week you could see who won the POV- so you know the result.
Also- does anyone follow BB on twitter? It can be a rabbit hole reading all the tweets about what is going on- almost as entertaining as the show!

I totally hate when people want to make an “all-girl” or “all guy” alliance - you’re not a stronger contestant just because of your sex! Of course the bouncy cheerleader was leading that idea…
@HiToWaMom I’m not sure I’m a huge fan, but we loved to watch it as a family when the kids were all here. I know it’s not the most wholesome show, but it appealed the the different ages and genders of my kids. And, it’s a fun, summertime diversion. This season looks like it will be a good one!

I have been trying to keep up. I agree that the competitions for HOH and Veto have been good. I like the competitions they do in the RV and I like that they can keep their winner/loser status secret.

Anyone still watching? What has been your impression of the season? As usual, I enjoy the guys much more than the girls. Got to give Victor his props for being the come back kid - not sure if he has any more lives left though! I have come to enjoy both him and Paul - much the opposite for me from the beginning of the season.
Corey seems like such an airhead but must say, he has certainly positioned himself well here near the end. Pretty key that he won HOH this week.
Who are you rooting for at the end?
I’ve been watching the show and reading online about the feeds. I get so frustrated by this point. So annoyed with how much better a tv edit the future get vs the girls. By now, try have all done annoying things, but the women get slammed much harder for it and the guys get passes by everyone.
Natalie was by far my favorite. I’m so annoyed by this while thing about her throwing “poor James” under the bus. Even if she did (which she did not IMO) he tanked her game way before when he threw her under the bus (which is a saying I hate) by telling Paul in front of Corey and with Nicole in hearing distance that Natalie wanted him to vote out Corey and save Victor.
I might have liked Victor except for his throwing Mardi Gras beads at two women during a nomination speech and telling one that she wasn’t spreading her affection around enough. Gag. He also doesn’t seem to have made any moves of his own the entire season.
I only liked Paul during the secret service stuff. That was pretty funny.
I think James is a creeper. Natalie would repeatedly tell him she needed some time alone and he would never listen. He kept pushing about ther relationship when it wasn’t the time or place.
Nicole was my least favorite of the women. I can’t stand women who make a big thing of how hard it is to connect with other women. It’s so obnoxious.
Also, Paulie was one of the worst house guests ever. The only one I’ve ever disliked more was Evil Dick.
