IMO the show-mances are a BAD idea - they need to be prohibited -haha!
I don’t know, I think the many of the guys were portrayed less than favorably too - again, we never know with the edits what actually happened, but while they sure built Paulie up at the beginning, they did him no favors and promptly tore him down! Paul was highlighted early on as being kind of an annoying loser and then all of a sudden he was “loveable”.
Because of what I’ve read about the feeds, I feel I can safely say that the guys edits were way better than the stuff they were doing. Paulie? Way worse. They went so easy on him.
If you are only watching the show, you may not realize that all of the guys have been making fun of Natalie (mostly behind her back) since almost the beginning. That comment Paulie made about her being as fake as ther things on her chest? That started early on, likely because she is friends with the ex who he had been cheating on. They were calling her “FT” for weeks. They being especially Paulie, Paul and Corey. There have convinced themselves she is a slut because she was interested the first few days in Corey and Victor before getting to know James more. The girl who hasn’t done anything more sexual than a peck on James lips once. That is what they consider a slut? Paulie was trashing Z constantly while literally having sex with her but Natalie is the user slut? Nicole and Corey? Been apparently doing everything except technical intercourse even though he says to the guys that his type is dark haire and athletic and he’s never dated a blonde. They both think they have room to criticize Nat? It really frustrates me.
And Paul, ugh. I saw still shots of his diatribe on Bridget when her and Frank were on the block. It was one of the worst examples of bullying. She was crouched in the corner upset as he went on and on about what a despicable person she is. After is long rant, he went j to another room and bragged to his buddies about how he destroyed her. He’s horrible.
Aside from going along with the guys misogyny (i.e. Agreeing with Paulie that Bridget being a feminist is the same as being a racist) Corey told this story early on that made most feed watchers hate him. It had to do with him and his friends setting a live goat on fire and how funny it was.
A couple other Natalie things they didn’t show… What led to her turning on Paul and Victor was finding out they were in on calling her FT. I think Paul might have even started that nickname. The second is the attitude we were seeing the last episode or two with James. A guy with a bullhorn was outside their fence saying James and Nicole went into the house with a Final 2 deal. The didn’t show any of that stuff for context.
I think the season got less interesting after Frank got evicted.
I didn’t watch when Frank was on his first season, but know others who feel the same. ^^^
Was not expecting it to be on last night but noticed it on my DVR! Surprise elim! Spoilers below if you didn’t watch…
Glad to see Paul make the cut. He cracks me up. In real life I think his energy and all would drive me crazy, but he’s a hoot to watch. Also, his “save me” speech…priceless! If he makes it to final 2 I think he has a good shot.
I don’t watch after hours but am only relying on what I see in the show. I hope Paul and James make the final two.

Not a fan, but didn’t want Paul either. Seems like that is the way for me every year, I don’t like either of the final two.
I didn’t like any of the winners. I felt the editing was bad yesterday. It felt choppy from one scene to the other.
I didn’t really care about what the jury was talking about and wish they more focused on the competitions. Paul made a mistake in deciding whom to take with him to the final two.
@raclut Yeah i agree he should have taken James. However, if i was Paul i would have thought that i would have won against both of them. I dont get how people think that Nicole played a superior game. Paul’s speech was also amazing really showed everything he did.
Also very surprised how Day voted for Nicole when the whole time she was rooting for Nicole to get evicted blows my mind.
@kassh4 I agree. I don’t know how the jury voted for Nicole.
They voted for Nicole because she had some amazing strategic moves. They didn’t all like her, which was why they would have been happy to see her evicted, but at final 2 enough decided she played a good game and wasn’t a complete confrontational jerk to them.
Da’ had said multiple times in the last couple of weeks (when shown in jury)that she hates to say it, but that Nicole really stepped up her game. When Paulie and Z (who along with Corey were good friends with her) were voted out, Nicole managed to save both of them. I dislike her, but it was either lucky or brilliant. And then,not only did she get Nat and Mich to save her and Corey by putting up their own alliance members, she then got those nominees to flip to her side for the rest of the game. And take her to F2.
Natalie said in an interview that she had planned to vote for Paul or Vic if they were up against anyone but James. She told them that in her last week, but instead of thinking ahead to jury management, Paul was an idiot who decided to mock her and treat her poorly the whole week. He maybe could have still saved it if he hadn’t given an obnoxious answer to her question as a jury member, but he didn’t.
Da’ said she would have voted for him against James, but his decision to ring Nicole was bad strategy and tipped the scales for her.
The most annoying thing is he is being a sore loser IMO in interviews and going on about how the jury was bitter and he played the best game. He isn’t getting that social game is as or more important than comps. He never got that the jury can vote for whoever they want to see win the most, for whatever reasons they choose. He is full of baloney when he says he just called people on their stuff. He only did it to people he felt he had some power over in some way, like any bully does. If they were female or if they were a guy nominated while he wasn’t, then he would be a confrontational jerk because it is fun for him.
I honestly didn’t care which of them won because I wasn’t a fan of either one but now that it’s done, I’m glad Paul lost.
Is it true that there is going to be a fall season of Big Brother?

I can’t even comment too much on last night because boy, what a mess! Really thought Paul would get and deserved the win. His speech was amazing.
What I DO want to comment on is this…can Michelle please stop crying!? OMG, what a brat she seems to be! Last night was ridiculous! Corey may not be the brightest star (not portrayed that way anyway) but the guy seems to be a genuinely nice guy - I don’t think he had any idea what he said to get her going!

Even with a questionable social game Paul should have won. He was a huge target from Day 1 and someone how managed to get out of that and throughout the whole season he was playing a huge part in the game. I think you could say that he was involved in almost every eviction and when he was on the block he did what it took to stay another week weather it was win the veto or sit tight and be the pawn.
Nicole on the other hand floated to like final 6 before she even did anything.
but yeah idk what Paul was thinking when he decided to take Nicole over James.
The summer season was quite long. Went into fall. I don’t want to watch the online new season. Now I need to figure out what to watch this upcoming season.
@raclut Modern Family is always a good time pass. Short episodes and quite entertaining. If you are looking for something more serious you should try suits.

I love Survivor and Amazing Race. This season of Survivor looks intriguing. I am not sure when Amazing Race is due to start. If you have Showtime, Shameless starts soon.
