Recruits are not unique to BB. Survivor and the Amazing Race also recruit.
@skieurope Survivor seems to go more for fans that have watched the show and are fans. BB’s recruits are there just to fill the stereotype and play a character. This might seem small, but they made Cameron (the guy that got evicted the first day) wear his glasses because he was the “micro-biologist guy,” and had to keep his nerdy look. But yeah, I agree they all have recruits.
I wonder how they recruit because most seem like regular folks. I can understand Paul and Jess as they are from LA and have ‘the look’. Are these recruits aspiring actors that have agents, I wonder?
Side note, my son watched some of Jess’ live stream IG interview and filled me in on some stuff: she’s committed credit card fraud, she calls all the girls in the house a ho or worse and she said there is so much dirt on Paul that never made it on TV or the feeds. She said he’s really bad.

Oh, I also liked James, Janelle, and Brendon. I enjoyed Janelle’s season the most.
I think Janelle is the best that has never won. lol people were saying that Jess is going to be a Janelle 2.0. Boy were they wrong.

This will be the last season I watch. I have not enjoyed this season at all. I will take Amazing Race over BB any day!
I was so confused today because I think it was all flashbacks which had people that had been eliminated. I am not enjoying this season at all. I been addicted to the show in other seasons. This season I can barely focus on it. My dd is more into it. It’s end of summer and there are still a lot of people in the house so I wonder when this season will be over. It looks like it may run till end of September.
agree, this summer is a bust. I’m getting so sick of Paul and the others are just hollow characters. It’s as if someone told them that Paul is untouchable and they are all just going along with it. If it were a real game, they’d be trying to get rid of him. Bring back Jody…that was the only real drama worth watching.
On west coast, so we haven’t watched yet. I’m glad Mark won POV and hope he wins HOH. The game needs to change or the show might lose more viewers. It’s so apparent that Paul is the favored one.

Hoping some new twists and turns will make it exciting like having Paul go on the block.
@raclut Even if Paul ends up on the block, I don’t think they have the votes to evict him. I think realistically Alex going would really shake things up.

CBS needs to take a stand on the behavior of the houseguests if they want this show to continue. There are some things that are simply NOT OK.
If I want to watch a bunch of bullies, there are plenty of LIfetime movies I can choose to watch.
The BB casting needs to get fired. It can not be that hard to put together a good cast. They have all year yet the last few years the cast has been pretty terrible.
