Have you guys applied yet to the program? We want to go to the Nov 9th audition but do we book or wait? I think I will contact the person on the letter to ask.
Did anyone else receive an email from DeSales just now? We didn’t apply but they just sent an email to my D accepting her as a Dance major. We don’t know anything about the school

Got the we were unable to determine acceptance from Dancewave email from Towson with dates to audition on campus.
My D received an acceptance from Springfield College today… But They only have a BA so she is not really interested. Hoping to hear from more colleges this week!!
My D auditioned for university of Arizona in September, she went to jazz in AZ last year. They were told they should hear in November.
My D did the Sept U of AZ audition last year and those invited all got personal phone calls from the department chair. Letters were sent to those who were not accepted with information about a second audition if applicable. The time frame for the letters was exactly as they said and I believe phone calls were all done within about 2 weeks of the audition. I do know that if a second audition does not fit the schedule then you can call and ask for other options. They look at the audition scores of your dancer and if it is in a range they are willing to take a second look they may invite them to come take classes as an evaluation/second audition. This was made available to my D last year and she ultimately decided not to do it as she is interested in that school for a Masters degree and so wanted to choose differently for undergrad. Waiting is the hardest part - I am doing it a second year in a row - this time with my ballerina!!

Still waiting on Adelphi, point park, Temple, Dean, and hunter. She was accepted to Springfield and we crossed ECU off her list for other reasons, so not waiting for an answer anyway. Uhart doesn’t use the audition as an audition- just a recruiting tool, so we crossed them off too, plus their rep was unprofessional (in our opinion) following dancewave.
Still waiting to hear from Montclair, Point Park, U of Arts and ECU (and maybe one more I am forgetting). D got an email today from ECU saying the would be communicating results soon.

@gmfalv he made an appointment for a Skype call with her- he asked her dance schedule and then scheduled where she would have to skip pointe class anyway- and then stood her up. He called almost three hours later (and at 10pm). On top of all that he told her they don’t use Dancewave as anyone’s audition so everyone was still at square one.
oh yes i remember this wow thats crazy. definitely would turn us off to the program as well.
Acceptances from Illinois, Ohio State, and Springfield.
Point Park said that my D needs academic acceptance before they send audition results. Montclair said that audition results would be available yesterday and that they would send an email, but nothing yet.
D already applied to Springfield (they have a great 5-year OT BS/MS program that could make a BA in dance worthwhile), Montclair, Point Park, and Ohio State. But her high school is slow at sending transcripts. Does anyone know anything about Illinois’ program? Not sure if this is helpful, but I have my daughter include a youtube link to her solo on her resume. I can see how many views it gets…looks like a few people looked at it.

My D just received accptence to montclair and the peabody conservatory. Also accepted at Buffalo University. Still waiting on purchase and Rutgers
