the financial aid office
I would call with any questions. I called the FA office yesterday (they open at 8:30 AM and got thru almost immediately, so i would suggest trying early before the west coast wakes). I just wanted to make sure none of DDs required info was missing. Shes CAS for neuroscience & got Merit in her letter & the discovery Florence program for fall. They clarified they had everything and said they were in the process of packaging her FA & are doing their best to get everything out for everyone and apologized for the wait. Were really just waiting to see it before we accept as shes pretty much made a decision. Unless the university grants that were listed on their npc wouldnt come thru she should be ok between the merit, pell & basic loans. Shes def feeling the orange. Good luck everyone!!

My DD was admitted with zero merit or financial aid except a $5500 unsubsidized loan. I have appealed the decision but am not hopeful. There is no way this school is worth taking out huge loans and DD received merit aid from other schools to make financial aid unnecessary. I am awaiting their response and then we will likely move on. I have found the FA counselor evasive. He scheduled a Zoom call and then canceled an hour before the call alleging some emergency. He never responds to emails. The entire process has been unpleasant. Good luck to others.

Would we have been notified of other financial award info by now? I was accepted the 19th but only got the $5500 loan. In other words is there anything else I can do to make this less expensive
You have to file an appeal and provide a laundry list of supporting documents almost like applying for a mortgage!
