Looks like nothing today. Sigh.
Do they typically put any merit in the acceptance letter? (Manifesting)

Merit awards would be indicated in the acceptance letter. Grants and other financial aid (e.g., work study) would be listed on MySlice.
For those inquiring about MySlice registrationâŠyour student will receive an email a few days before the decision release that they need to create a NetID for access. This email is not indicative of acceptance. Everyone will receive one, even if your student had activated their NetID. If the student attended Syracuseâs summer program either for credit or the pre-college program, then access should still be active.
Decisions will be posted to the student applicant portal, not MySlice.
Ok so since no acceptance yet itâs not necessary to have a MySlice account.
If you want to have a tentative aid offer coming together with the acceptance letter, I think youâll need a MySlice account now, but Iâm not sure whether Syracuse does this or not.
my son did not get any myslice info.
yes they pretty much have always put it there and if not in acceptance letter, you were not awarded merit
Merit aid is listed in the acceptance letter. The exception to this is that tuition exchange scholarships were only listed in the comprehensive aid offer on myslice last year. This is only relevant to a small number of folks who all know who they are.
So if the admitted student receptions are April 1, April 8, and April 12 then it would seem decisions should start this FridayâŠ.most (non NY) people would need two weeks to plan, wouldnât they?
Even worse, nobody will have aid letters. Right?
Good point!
Anybody else have a change in the little box that pops up in portal? After you click common app? It shows date application started, date submitted and (for my d ) her first choice major Maxwell, poli sci⊠I think it started doing that last week. Itâs prob nothing but
Can you post a screenshot? I donât see anything about common app in the portal.
I believe we have always had that info appear in the pop-up box after clicking on the Common App hyperlink.
Maybe!? We probably only read it once to make sure it was accurateâŠwho knows.
Funny, I thought I noticed a change in that, too, but just couldnât be sure if I was misremembering. Thanks for posting.
Is this a change in the Syracuse portal or the common app portal?
Syracuse
Does everyone have their major showing there?
