No they must have changed that from last year. I assume everyone was sent the myslice instructions since that was months before decisions came out. I think he got an ID number or something and that was how he accessed it? He asked me to help him, but I don’t remember all the details. I don’t know if they referred to myslice by name or not, so she should just search her email for “syr” to see if there’s instructions anywhere.
Current 24 applicants - did your child get an email about creating a MySlice account after applying? My D definitely did not. Checked her email and didn’t have anything.
It is a maze of the initial email that has some identifier like a net id. You use the net id to set up a syracuse email, then you log into myslice with the new email. It was several months ago, but it was definitely a several step process.

Also, I don’t think my son got an email, maybe he did. But I believe I knew he needed to set up a myslice account because I believe there is a link in the admissions portal that tells you that is where you will find your financial aid.
My d did summer school there so we have access, but you can try first initial last name. Syr.edu
Ie jsmith@syr.edu. That’s how ours works. They have a net id that they were given by email at time of submission (emailed confirmation of submission after common app) then they create password for access to myslice
Were you told to do this or did you just figure it out on your own?
We never spoke to anyone at Syracuse about it, but I am a super researcher (as I think probably all of us here are!) so I either saw it referenced here or somewhere on the Syracuse website. I found the instructions for applicants, I think I followed these (it wasn’t my favorite experience, I think I got frustrated a few times- just fair warning). I have no access to my D’s so I will just have to wait for her. My thoughts are most of us will hear on the 15th but I am just predicting

Yes. They probably require you to submit CSS Profile first. Did you submit CSS yet?
Yes we did submit the CSS a while ago.
Then, you would better send an EMAIL to your admissions officer assigned in the admission portal asking for it.
Not sure why it’s necessary. We have access to the application portal which is where the decision will be posted. Am I missing something?
