Varies wildly by college. Overall around 45-50% but Newhouse, falk much harder.
what about the biz school?
I would guesstimate 35-50% for Whitman
Thanks, I still dont understand how to get a NETid.
P&Q puts Whitman at 32% acceptance rate for undergrad
As far as I can tell, my son has not received an email to set up his NetID yet. The instructions are a little fuzzy on when that would happen. I think some people have myslice accounts from attending SU programs, like summer camp. But maybe we missed an email along the way - seems plausible.
We received an email on 12/21 titled " Time Sensitive: Syracuse University Financial Aid Office | Activate Your NetID"
Thatâs before my son even applied. Havenât received anything about a NetID since. There have been, however, a couple of other emails about financial aid.
On the Myslice page, below where you would enter the log in info there is a link " * Change or manage NetID password. Click on that and it will bring you to a page to set up your NetID. https://selfserv.syr.edu/selfserv/acctActivation?execution=e2s1. On THAT page you go to âactivate my netidâ You will need your SUID# which you can find on your applicant portal.
I didnât get an email to set it up, I just went to the myslice page and saw the links to set up a myslice account- and to manage the netid. Set up the netid, set up the myslice account viola.
received this too
I finally logged into myslice, my to do list is empty, anyone else?
Anyone able to signup for admitted student campus visit?
Is there a date for that?
We visited last summer so if S24 gets in we wonât be making the trip for any accepted students events. Last summer the tour consisted of a presentation by admissions, tour and then we did a brief info session with an admissions staff member in the College of Visual & Performing Arts which my son applied to for illustration. The tour did not include any residence halls or dining facilities. I believe this is standard on all Syracuse tours so if you are traveling hoping to see those just look online to get an idea.
Last yearâs job placement at 83% is a little underwhelming to me. That number fell off a cliff from 2022. I know the market has tightened a bit but the school needs to be better networking in the career center.
Just saw on Reddit that a couple of people called SU admissions and people are being told definitely this week. With Friday being the usual day of the week for SU, Iâm feeling more confident that 3/22 is our day. Good luck to everyone!
Ours too
Nope, you?
Will merit be on the acceptance letter and portal or in MySlice? Not asking about need based aid.
We emailed because we are making a Spring Break trip from CA and they responded notifications will start to go out on 3/22
