Is there anyone else who still has nothing in Myslice for financial aid?? Are they still processing financial aid information? We are nowhere near an SAI of $80k+ so at the very least we should have an award letter with loan eligibility.

Are you using a PC? The link to financial aid offer doesnāt work on an iPad or phone.
My freshman at āCuse also has a full tuition scholarship, and thatās exactly what her financial aid award is-just the scholarship and federal loans. (Iām definitely not complaining, total COA is cheaper than the SUNYs would have been for her). Congrats to your student! Let me know if you have any questions!
Weāre using a PC. We can get to the Myslice and click on financial aid, but thereās nothing there. Nothing to click on, nothing to indicate they even assessed his need. We submitted the CSS and FAFSA.

Call the Financial Aid office and they can provide you with more detailed information. A few years ago they were backlogged with the RD students. I imagine with the delays in FAFSA and providing ED students with estimates and then confirmations, there are probably delays in turning this information around for many students.
Does Syracuse allow the stacking of outside scholarships?
I believe so. However, they can potentially reduce any internal and/or federal financial aid awarded. I would suggest contacting the Financial Aid Office with specific scholarships to determine whether or not it will impact your overall award package.
And the pod bathrooms are also a big plus!
When do we start hearing back from waitlists?

Most peopleā¦ never. Best to treat it as a slow rejection.
Last year 1,647 kids out of 5,933 were offered a spot off the waitlist at Syracuse. Donāt count it out completely.

Yes - we used the merit appeal form. Took a couple weeks.

My son did. Bewildering - they gave us nothing before, we had crossed it off the list immediately.
we are a business major. what about you? wish we would have gotten this earlierābut nice of them and appreciative.
I curious if weāll see more of this. With this whole mess I wonder if some schools just made some offers to see whoād bite. Now some are lagging a bit on numbers and getting aggressive late.
