TAMU Class of 2023 - Admission Decisions/Discussion

@AggieMomhelp THANK YOU!! That really helps us a LOT! Now to convince the HUBS so we can apartment shop!! Just hate this agonizing WAIT for all of our smart students!! My daughter was accepted to TAMU-CC, Texas State, Texas Tech, SFA. Auburn & Southern Miss but she has AGGIE BLOOD!!

@amycakes416 that’s awesome. It’s good she know what she wants. FYI most of the student housing have roommate finder. Which is nice and so different from our day. And you’re only responsible for her room not the whole place. Where is she looking at living?

@AggieMomhelp my next question would be is it still possible to recieve PTA as and out of state student if that were the case?

PTA isn’t an offer. Go the tamu admissions page and click on alternative pathways.

@AggieMomhelp sorry I just reread it thank you

@AggieMomhelp so does this mean that all full admission offers have been sent out ?

@nervoussenior12356 most likely yes. But that’s just my thought not for sure.

I believe you are right @AggieMomhelp - but we never did see any posting of full admits on CC after the time they said there were still 2000 to give. Very disappointing.

I think there were a few @BlueBayouAZ on here but too lazy to go back and look on my phone.

I don’t want to give y’all false hope because I didn’t personally see their AIS’s, but my friend told me that some people got full admit on Thursday in agriculture at his school

I’ve been quite anxious about not receiving an admission and if there are really no more full offers being given : (. I’m just really trying to stay positive here.

Interesting to hear. All we heard on Thursday on this thread were team offers.

@AggieMomhelp She’s been looking at The Woodlands with a girlfriend. They’ve looked at others but prefer the closet space best at a Woodlands. We are making a trip to CS tomorrow to explore options and possibly sign a lease somewhere!!! If anyone has advice/personal experience with specific apartments please feel free to message me!!

Hi Thelma,
Applied late October. Application complete first part of November. Ranked in the 1st Quarter.

@amycakes416 we like The Standard

@amycakes416 I tried to pm you. Not sure why it won’t add your name. Anywho
 the woodlands is okay but the traffic there is always crazy and they are building another complex on that corner. My daughter lived right behind it in the cottages and also aspen heights.

Lots of places right on the edge of campus that have good closet space. Tell them to keep open mind because there are just so many places.

Applied late October, application in review by mid-November. Major 1st and 2nd: Kinesiology. 1st Q. Sub scores ACT: R=33, E=32 M=25 S=25 Composite=29. 100+ hours of service required by my highschool-parochial private school. GPA=3.8. Not a fabulous tester, stronger in English/verbal.

Just want to get this straight. Is it the general consensus, that if you are still in Review and you applied in late October/eary November-that you will most likely not receive full admit. I am a regular admission, no auto or academic admit.

We just don’t know @Ronran - but the majority, if not all, full admits have been given. There were thousands more people applying this year.

@AndyyBuii
My daughter has your exact stats and she hasn’t heard anything either. Very frustrating because you (and she) obviously are excellent students and we are very surprised she hasn’t heard.
Hang in there!!
