Last night he received a call from corps recruiting to discuss unit preferences and assignment. Why would they call without a decision? Anyone heard of this happening?

@Amariegiles I have never heard of this happening (which doesn’t say much)… but I hope that means good news for your son!!!
@Texasgurl1234 Did anyone chance your daughter? At this point, with those stats against a highly competitive group of students, there’s a good chance for PSA offer. Last year or year before, she probably would have gotten full or Team.
@AggieMomhelp Thanks! I havent seen much on here for Liberal Arts majors. And I cant imagine it being a productive practice to contact corps hopefuls prior to admission decisions. It’s very curious.
@Amariegiles could be a gateway offer coming. I know a lot of LA majors are full… we just haven’t seen many posts on here. I know Psych has been full for at least a month now.
How long did it take the admits get get the packet?
@Amariegiles I have a daughter who was auto admit and recently accepted/switched majors to Political Science (about two weeks ago). I don’t know what that means as far as current openings but it has updated in her Howdy portal.
@Fullofhope23 it takes about a week after accepting to receive the banner/packet in the mail.
@Fullofhope23 took a week for my son to get his packet, once he accepted the offer to consider BlinnTEAM.
Does anyone know if English is full? Still in review.

Spoke to a member of the admission office, they stated that all Blinn Team and Full Admission offers have been sent out.

Hey @Thelma2! I’ve been reading you for a while and I would like to ask for your opinion. I am a future international undergraduate student and I’ve received admission decision from Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia Tech and Texas A&M at Galveston. I am currently trying to make a decision and TAMU is still one of my top choices but I didn’t get accepted to College Station and this made my doubt which University I should choose. Do you think TAMU at Galveston is still a better option than other schools I received admission from? Thank you for your advise!

@MariaVCA That decision is WAY over my paid grade and one there is no way I could answer. What specific major were you wanting to study at Galveston? I am assuming you are wanting to study engineering?
@BellaDad what tabs are and where to find them is a few pages back. Reading back about several-many pages can bring you up to speed on a lot
