My change of major is now gone also. Glad it will be over soon either way! I will be heading to UArk if I get PSA or denial. Wasn’t my plan but praying it all works out! Good luck to all still waiting!

@JaceyK I called U of H to see if they have a BIMS major because we couldn’t find it online, I was told they do not. Is your son considering taking a different major there? We also went to see a TAMU advisor and was told TAMUCC is not a PSA for BIMS so would likely be McAllen or nothing at all. My daughter’s buttons are now gone as well. OH MY GOODNESS, I am getting nervous now. All this waiting is almost over and we can move on with our lives. Good luck to all of you!! I wish you all the best!
@JaceyK I applied directly to Tamucc and received a scholarship, and i signed the housing contract a few days ago. So if I dont get PSA im going to tamucc. If i do get PSA then im going to have to decide wether to do that or be an internal transfer
@rockmom21 We are from Pennsylvania. He was one of the fortunate full admits to CS. We started this process with a google search on top schools for Aerospace Engineering. A visit for to Aggieland day in November sealed the deal for him. We got our 6 tabs in December and official letter in January

@luckyaggie in AIS is our checklist to complete like his vaccination record, college transcripts from DE etc. in Howdy under Manage App it says Whoop…And yes change major is still there.

@wewait Did you check in in Howdy-- Manage Applications or the main AIS? Reason I ask is the button disappeared in Howdy but is still on original AIS page.
So i finally decided to join, ive been using this thread as a support group but Im going to put in my 2 cents. Maybe 4 cents since Ive got 2 applicants. One of my daughters is top 10% and we got her banner quickly. She got Honors and Mays. The other daughter has great stats but we were in review until 3/4/19. Pppppppainful!!! How do you celebrate one while the other waits?. We got PSA and were going to take it happily until I had to break it to her the news about VIZ not participating. Thats a big deal change and should have been communicated!!! She got into UTD ATEC Animation. We are going to visit next week and most likely accept although SVA in NY and others have accepted her. I noticed another Mom has a VIZ hopeful also leaning toward UTD. If interested, maybe the girls could get together. Ive never done a forum before so forgive any protocol errors here. And thanks to all in my support group through this most grueling process.
@Momw2going2019 That is a really tough situation. Sorry you are all going through it. I know this process has been so painful and must be even more difficult for D#2 since D#1 is already accepted. That being said, I am sure they are both amazing and will be very successful on their individual paths. I have heard such good things about UTD and that it is really making a serious mark as a University. Wishing both of them the very best of luck!!!
@Momw2going2019 I can’t even imagine the highs & lows you have experienced. Ugh. I am sorry!! Is your Mays daughter in Business Honors or University Honors? My daughter will be in BH (Business Honors).
@BlueBayouAZ Thanks for all your work with the common data set. One question I have, if you know - does the data only cover full-admit students? Specifically, when I look at Admission Test Statistics for Fall 2018 for First-Time-In-College students, are the students listed there full-admit students only? If so, do you know if there is a data set that includes students offered Blinn Team and/or PSA? Thank you.
