Have any other engineering majors heard back? Also does anyone know when mechanical engineering majors should expect to hear back?
Woke up this morning to 6 tabs for petroleum engineering
6 tabs for mechanical!!
People who are getting into engineering, did you complete all course requirements (Cal 2, Phys 2) or are some still in progress this spring?
Has anyone heard from college of architecture for environmental design yet?
@strsdouttt ive completed all of the required courses except phys2, which im currently taking
@strsdouttt I have completed all my required courses
Has anyone heard from the College of Architecture - Construction Science yet?? Applied back in January, received the transfer audit on 2-5 and still nothing…
Yes, I’m a Construction Science applicant. Got my audit 1/28/2020 I got admitted till 3/31/2020. It shouldn’t be long till you hear back!
Admitted students, how do you guys register for classes? The earliest NSC I can find is in May and all of the classes I need are full now
Is anyone still waiting to hear back from psychology? I applied for the summer late in February and got my transfer audit 3/31
Thank you everyone for your input from the beginning! I was accepted to the Mechanical Engineering program on april 14. 6 tabs on apr 13. I am so excited!!
By the way, any MEchanical Engineering admit here? Let’s make a group chat or something!
now that I have been admitted to TAMU, how early con I see an academic advisor, register for classes and everything else? Is it ok if I am bringing 15 more credits from the summer in my community college? I just want to get the core curricular classes out of the way!
Officially deferred for spring review, which I knew had to happen since I am currently taking a required course this semester. Would my chances be good if I do well in all my courses or would it still be up in the air? They did say only competitive applicants get deferred, so hoping that is a good sign
Has anyone applied to TAMU-G for Maritime Administration as a transfer?
deferred for spring grades. biomedical engineering. have physics 2 as a remaining course requirement.
I applied to psychology on 3/2 for the fall. Received my audit 3/20. I’m still waiting for a decision as well.
Deferred students typically get in with a solid semester finish! so yes, good sign.
As for NSC, other classes will open up throughout the summer and then in August when it’s open enrollment/add drop for all students, other things come and go.
As for bringing in 15 credits extra from the summer… don’t be too excited to get core classes out of the way, a lot of students use core classes to buffer them from a 15 semester course load of only courses for their major. It can be tricky for prereqs as well as overwhelming.
Isnt it a bad time to expect students to finish the semester strong with everything moving online? what if a student opts for pass/fail?.. and does strong mean “Straight As”?
6 tabs for psychology!
