My ARTS 1301 still shows as TRNS XXXX I hope this covers my creative arts credit.
@wonderlust1 Unfortunately TAMU doesn’t have Art Apreciation (ARTS 1301); I took Art History (ARTS 1303) because there was a class that was equivalent. However, I know that with classes like Creative Arts Mays is known for giving you credit for classes that show up as TRNS XXXX because Creative Arts doesn’t play much of a role in the Business College. I think you will be fine if worst comes to worst they will just make you take the class when you get there. Good luck!! Keep us updated!
I got my audit!
Applied on 1/5/19
Audit GPA- 3.52
Credit Hours: 25
Is there anyone here that still doesn’t have an audit? I applied 1/2 and still don’t have one, should I be worried?
@alirhasan96 Hey, I don’t have my audit yet either. I am a little concerned. Hopefully it is uploaded soon. I applied on 1/1/19…
I just called Admissions. Guy on the phone called the department responsible, and he said they were going to fix the missing credits! Super relieved. I’ll be fully relieved when I see it myself; I’m not about to let all my time and work go to waste.
I haven’t received my audit yet either. My major is agricultural science and I applied on 1/2
@AggieMomhelp
Just got a response from A&M.
This is what they had to say about AP credits: “We do consider AP scores in the total 75 hour limit and regardless of the courses degree applicability, (i.e. MATH 1314) it will still apply towards the hours limit as well.
If some of the courses you accepted AP credit for were also on your transcripts (for example ENGL 1301) then you will not be credited twice and this would not be considered towards the overall total hours.is is what they told me in regards to the AP credits: “ We do consider AP scores in the total 75 hour limit and regardless of the courses degree applicability, (i.e. MATH 1314) it will still apply towards the hours limit as well.If some of the courses you accepted AP credit for were also on your transcripts (for example ENGL 1301) then you will not be credited twice and this would not be considered towards the overall total hours.”
Hopefully, that helps someone in the future.

Now we wait! My bets are a decision in a month → a month and a half for us who applied early. Good luck to everyone!
do we get the audit through howdy or through AIS? I applied 01/02 and still haven’t received an audit.
@comm3211 There are two ways to get to your audit. One is by clicking “view transfer audit” under the “your app is in review” message on AIS. It’ll link you to howdy. Or just go through howdy, click the applicant tab - manage applications - scroll down and select the audit.
Well, the audit department is proving to be trouble for a second time. They listed my ECON 1110 class from UNT as ECON 1100 and now I have two ECON 202 A&M credits. I contacted the department, and it’s probably going to be awhile before it is fixed. I hope this doesn’t affect my chances just due to timing.
@ExcGunnar better to have a duplicate than not show up. With your 4.0 you shouldn’t have any issues my friend.
@AggieMomHhelp I wouldn’t be worried, but ECON 203 and 202 are required for admission into Mays. They need to resolve this quick. I’ve talked to them multiple times on the phone, and I’m gonna go down there Friday to tak in person.
Oooh gotcha. Yikes. It’ll get resolved. Glad you caught it!! AND if you don’t get in… this is appealable (not a word, but I’m making it one for now).
So when they do your transfer audit do they count every single class that WILL transfer to the university for your GPA or just the courses that will go towards the major? Hope that’s not a silly question just wanted to figure it out .-. Cause I’ve taken busi 2301 and it transfers to the school, but an advisor said it wouldn’t count towards my degree?
@aggiebound1996 They factor every class into your GPA, even if it does not count towards your degree it still is used to calculate your GPA.
Got my transfer audit today!
Applied 1/2

I applied later than most, but got my transfer audit today.
