TASP Decisions

Yes, and “Merry Mer,” I presume?

Um, INDEED. Curse you for mentioning this site, I’ve been addicted to it since I joined a couple months ago.

You two make me laugh. :D

For the UMich People, have any of you guys called the shuttle services? What seems to be cheaper, taking the shuttle or sharing a cab?

A cab from DTW to Telluride will cost $50-55 plus tip. The shuttles are $25 plus tip, if I remember correctly, although I think you need to reserve a spot ahead of time.

Is that $25 shuttle a flat rate for multiple people, or per person?

Please kill me.

Has anyone called about the shuttles yet, for UMICH?

wang:

why?

Yeah, Select Ride is $24 a person for door-to-door service. I’m going with that one.

Haha, wang wants someone to make him get off CC, I bet.

Gobble Gobble.

thanksgiving already?

Does anyone read The Best Page In the Universe?

can any past TASP’ers or people who were accepted to TASP this year post their cumulative GPA’s?

does anyone not read it?

Er… I don’t think GPA matters that much. I had a 3.93 UW at the time I applied. They didn’t even ask for junior year grades.

I’m bringing a HUGE electric fan to TASP.

they dont ask for junior year grades? well thats gonna hurt me.

no, they dont care about grades (but i think i sent in my midterm grades for junior year)

all about the essays

Eh, savoirfaire, you make 3.93 sound so low :frowning:

I sent in my first semester junior grades because that’s what I had on my transcript. If your junior grades will be good, go for it. As long as there aren’t any unusual trends in your GPA (wildly fluctuating grades, etc.), you’re fine. Like everyone else, I suggest you focus on the essays–those are the true deciding factor.
