though the day before i got the mailed application, I was planning on applying anyways due to CC 
got my rec from eng teacher; she said that only 1 person before has attended tasp from my school. no one even knows what tasp is…</p>

<p>Are any TASP alums still lurking? I don’t have a specific question, but I was wondering if you had any advice, anything you wish you’d know before you went.</p>
<p>Also, any UT Austin alums here?</p>
<p>My humanities teachers are both UT alums–needless to say there were ecstatic when they heard I got into the UT TASP… </p>
<p>My suggestion to anyone coming down to Austin is to bring shorts, and a swimming suit, since my teacher suggested going to this awesome pool supplied by natural springs =)</p>

<p>Periodically, in the middle of studying or stocking shelves or riding the bus, I’ll suddenly think, “oh my god, i’m going to TASP.” i think i’m still sort of in shock, and it won’t really settle in until I’m there.</p>

<p>i was actually googling up the time frame for TASP when i saw a college confidential link, and was surprised that there’s a collection of people here also going! so i promptly made a username. (i heard from my brother that this’s more addicting than myspace… he was glued to the comp around the spring of his senior year, remember)</p>

<p>dymonds!! I’m glad you’re here. There are like 15 people from this forum going to TASP and up until today, I was the only Wash U person. Now there are two of us and wouldn’t you agree, our TASP is going to blow all the other TASPs out of the water?</p>
<p>haha hell-o yes it’s going to be amazing. good thing someone else’ll be there that i’ll have had contact with from before though! yay! my brother’s friend went to one on creativity three years ago. she said they sent a formal declaration of war to all the other tasp programs. we should draft one for this summer, since ours is going to be the best.~</p>

<p>WOW! I googled “I’m going to TASP 2006” and randomly found this site! I was hoping to find some people who are fellow TASP-ers…never thought I would find a whole little community…so, I am going to U. of Mich…nice to see that we are well represented on here…
