Anyone know if Chancellor’s invites went out yet?
My daughter called me and said she received one, but I haven’t seen the email. Go to campus middle of February I think…
Was it sent to her regular email? We didn’t see anything on the portal so I’m thinking my daughter didn’t get it
Yes, it was an email from “My TCU Update”
When she clicked on it it said: An update has been posted to your myTCU Portal. Then the portal had a letter about being a finalist, etc…
She is excited and nervous at the same time. Hoping your daughter gets the same email, but she should be proud either way. TCU is a fantastic school!

Question for you/the group: my son was accepted but hasn’t received anything on potential scholarships. Does that mean he didn’t receive anything or will that come later? (He’s also applied to the Honors College so I’m not sure if that affects timing).

School issued scholarships (deans etc) were released with the admission annoucement.

Did any other deferred applicants notice a change to their portal recently?
Was it related to the added Authenticator app?

yes… did everyone get this prompt for the authenticator app? it also gave my son a tcu.edu email address… does every applicant get an email assigned them? just curious. ty

yes… my daughter was deferred and just got the authenticator and the email address as well. I hope it’s a good sign!

We noticed this for the first time yesterday. My daughter was accepted in December. Since we didn’t have this before yesterday, I can’t give you any insight into whether this is only for accepted students or all applicants. It was the first time we had seen a TCU email for her, too.

FrogFan001, do you have any insight as to why the deferred and admitted students are just now getting this authentication prompt on their portals (with an email address reflected therein) ?
I read this as an extra layer of security to anyone who still has an active portal. I don’t believe it any indication of admission status considering deferred decisions are still over a month away.

Did anyone receive a packet from TCU? I was thinking it was the acceptance packet, it was mainly just a booklet on housing etc- I was a little underwhelmed for it to be an acceptance packet so I was wondering if they are sending anything else
A couple days ago, D25 received a purple Congratulations foldout with four sections, personalized with her name in several places.
Oh ok. We haven’t received that. We got a letter with her scholarship and then a book for housing and first year experience.
We don’t have either of those yet. 
D25 has fingers crossed tight for good news re: honors college (tomorrow, 1/31?).
