Haven’t heard anything about the honors college. Does that mean it’s a no? Or, have not all decisions gone out yet?

We got sort of a “deferral” for honors - even though they gave her the Dean’s scholarship, they said they need until April to give her a decision on honors- so thought that was strange, I didn’t think they did that. Anyway, I’m thinking TCU is off the table now, we have received too many other better offers

looks like Regular decision dropped on Friday, March 8 last year… Was wondering if any anyone had heard anything about a similar date this year.

No, but it seems the school should be able to get through the applications well before April 1. They don’t have near as many as the larger schools that are already releasing.

Does anyone have any insight if they offer departmental scholarships later on after the initial financial aid letter was released? DD received the merit scholarship that was automatic but nothing else - just wondering if we should hold hope for any more money

DD received department scholarship a few weeks after initial Dean’s scholarship she received upon admission, she was EA admit. I think around $6,000 a year from the department of her admitted major.

Weird. My son was accepted into the Honors College but has not received ANY scholarships. No Dean’s, no merit, etc.

Anyone have any insight there?

They have an automatic chart for merit on the website- I would check your son’s stats compared to their chart
