Yes, all other acceptances are into nursing (of course if maintain grades) no reapply like Tamu program.
We’ve had lots of conversations about what you’re sharing as well. She likes the nutrition program at Tamu with ability to earn minor going into nursing. She determined and up for challenge of Tamu nursing, but my thoughts are like yours. She fell in love with Tamu, no Aggie grads in our immediate family.
Just did my 10 times a day Howdy check and No 7 tabs yet but under
Active Application it changed to:
Major: ENGE - General Engineering Program: BAC-ENGE-GV Location: Galveston
Does this mean she is in?

My Aggie was in HNR program, all her bff’s at A&M were uber smarties, all in various majors and HNR programs. Not one friend-including all sorority sisters-that applied to A&M Nursing got in.
Not one
Each of them had a near perfect HESI score (test taking skills are crucial), all were pharmacy techs or CNA/EMT certified, very involved in campus orgs, had overall 3.9-4.0. All applied the max 3x.
Most graduated early from A&M, then went on to pursue accelerated BSN degrees from UT, UTMB, Baylor and one to Tech.
If Nursing is her goal… she needs to go to a direct admit program.

Was she given Galveston option a couple weeks ago?
No. It just changed within the last couple of hours, but only changed in the Active Application.

Can anyone share the time frame from AIS “You’ve been admitted!” to receipt of the admission packet in the mail? My daughter was admitted January 23, but nothing in the mail yet. She honestly can’t wait to take a pic with her official hard copy Aggie admission!

This summer my son got his “You’ve been admitted!” message on 9/12 and the packet arrived on 9/27. Hope this helps.

People on reddit are starting to report losing their change major / withdraw application buttons… Looks like PSA is coming. Is PSA sent in waves? I still haven’t lost those buttons.

Everybody whose kid goes to a suburban 6A school thinks it is extremely competitive. Go take a peek at National Merit Semifinalist counts; that’s where you get the best sense of which ones are truly extremely competitive.

A Facebook group post is saying they got 7 tabs today for TEAB.
