What a resume. Holy cow. Well done. You will get into engineering no worries on that front.
Congrats on your accomplishments.

Your major changed to ETaM or Eng review?
We were hoping for the AIS email this morning (applied on 8/2 using Common App and on the Common App website the status changed to “downloaded by college” yesterday), but no email has come.
Oops sorry engineering review. I’ll edit my original post.
Great thank you. Can you imagine how freaked out other Eng applicants would be? Lolol. Caught me off guard for sure. I was like… oh wow, straight to Eng
Congrats on first round being done!
Any TAMU AIS emails for the Common App applicants out there this morning? I’ve got my fingers crossed for y’all.
Same here–no email for us either.
Sadly no! The wait continues…lol.
Ditto. D29 submitted Common App 8/2, got “downloaded by college” 8/8, still waiting for AIS email. (Top 10%, Viz)
FYI…..my son just called admissions and was told that they’ve been flooded with applications, slowing down the process. So it has moved the 2-3 day window for receiving their UIN # (for NetId activation, AIS login, and Howdy Portal) to 5-10 days. Hope this helps. We were getting nervous he missed a step.
Waiting!
My son just got another email from TAMU giving him his UIN and explaining how to long on to AIS and Howdy Portal. Very strange.
Submitted Common App on 8/1- just got UIN!!!
Email with UIN finally came! Common App submitted 8/1
Same! Woohoo!
So a dumb question…Now that we can see AIS, it looks to be separate from the Howdy portal that others have posted. When/how do they log in to that, or is that sent to them after they accepted?
The email that gave you your UIN and link to the AIS also gave you the link the Howdy Portal. I believe the email said it could take 24 hours after activating the NET ID for the Howdy Portal to be accessible but it was almost instant for my son.
she was able to log in! And also see the 3 regular tabs
Everything except for SRAR was marked green, so once that clears she will hopefully get her 7 tabs soon next week sometime.
I really hope our HS counselors don’t hold up the process to get all green checks! They told us they won’t even look at Schoollinks till after Labor Day. DS used AIS counselor request for his rank letter, transcript, fee waiver and school report.
Assuming he gets the green checks in August, how do they timestamp the auto-admit acceptances for housing purposes? Do they send most of them out in one batch around that 9/14 timeframe?
I understand school counselors are busy but I don’t think they all got the memo on moving quickly for TAMU, lol. Ours told us they had until October to get everything in and through the common app but we are fortunate to have a separate transcript ordering system through the registrar so went through them.
curious about housing too.
