I don’t know why more of the contestants didn’t do what Nat did and do the task while riding on her knees. That’s the first thing I thought of and wondered whether it was not allowed until she did it. Riding it the way most did required really using your core to keep your feet from dragging and is why they got so tired.

If anyone doubted that this season would be “less than “ with Big Brither teams I hope you have been pleasantly surprised. Some really genuine teams and relationships here and some great strategy.
I IMMEDIATELY thought that Jag and brother were targeting two all women teams. I am rooting for Izzy and FIANCÉ to sort of kick Jag/bro butts. I really like Izzy and fiancé.
Tucker I noticed did not let the host teams get in the way of his scooter riding - he got in front of them right away.

Interesting. I didn’t think Jag/Jas were targeting the all female teams. The teams left after them were the dad/daughter, three all girl teams and Kyland/Taylor ? I think they didn’t want to target K/Y since they got the express pass from them - so it was highly probably that a team they picked would have two girls, right?
Since they had shown some tension between J/J and the Izzy/Paige team, their pick seemed to make sense.

They did make a point (I can’t remember exactly what their words were) to say that they preferred that the 3rd girl team so they chose the first 2 girl teams. (And then that 3rd girl team was eliminated anyway!). What place were J/J in when they got to the u-turn - 2nd and 3rd with that other team, right? There were some male or mixed teams at that point.
They also could have chosen not to u-turn given they have an express pass to if they got in trouble somewhere along the race.
Jag and Jas chose Izzy and Paige because they had excluded them and brushed them off from a conversation. They took it that Izzy and Paige clearly did not want to work with them.
Joseph and his brother were the ones choosing the second u-turn. They chose Rubina and her sister because they knew they were struggling and thought that would give Hannah and her sister (also struggling ) the best chance of staying. They did not want to lose Hannah and her sister because they like working with them.

Yes, I don’t think Jag and Jas were involved when Joseph and Adam made their choice on whom to U-turn. They could have chosen to u-turn Kyland and Taylor I think - not sure why they didn’t.
I thought it was interesting that the girl teams complained that they were targeted for the U Turn, but were pleased when they received an easier load during the Driver’s Seat challenge.

As would any team, no matter the gender competition. Any team would be mad to be u-turned and pleased to get a lighter load.
That is inaccurate. They got to pick just one team - and they picked Izzy and Paige. The team right behind them (Joseph and Adam) were the ones who picked Rubina and Kristine.
I’ve never watched BB so don’t know any of these contestants. But if the situation were reversed do you think Izzy would not have picked Jag? (He seemed to think she would).
But J&J could have chosen not to U turn, as the brothers did and as so many others have in season past. They were not being threatened by Izzy and Paige.

Yes, I agree with that - they needn’t have used it at all. But since they did choose to U-turn, I don’t have an issue with them picking the team they thought would have done the same to them.

You’re right that J/J could only choose one team - because they and the Joseph team were there at nearly the same time my mind lumped them together. Sorry about that!
Would Izzy have pegged Jag? Maybe. All of this is subjective. Should J/J have put that much weight on one conversation that Izzy team did not include them in? Should Izzy/team target J/J team for spite from BB or because they have the fast forward and maybe force them to play it? All possibilities!
Re: BB, Izzy and Jag were on different alliances. I don’t recall them being HUGE enemies - but Jag played pretty hard and scrappy to get his win there.
I think you are seeing them on Amazing Race similar to how they played or showed their personalities on BB. Jag more aggressive, Izzy smart player but also encouraging and methodical.
And clearly I’m more team Izzy than Jag from the BB days - so I’m team Izzy for better or worse on AR!!

I have to say that I’m impressed that producers are not focusing on BB drama. For the most part, I can’t tell which person on each team was on BB and which was not. That said, I’m not a huge Izzy fan. Is that the edit she is getting or her true personality?

Izzy seems to have some serious anger management issues.
The tasks this week seemed pretty easy so the teams that had a late start had no chance to catch up.

One issue I have with this season is that the teams in the back are so far behind. In the past my recollection is that there were more equalizers, in addition to flights or trains, getting to a place that was not yet open. Hopefully, more interesting legs ahead.

I was thinking the same thing. Having the teams so far apart makes it difficult for the people working the challenges. My guess is that there will be an equalizer in the next episode. It makes for boring television if the same teams are always winning and the back of the pack can’t move up.
Regarding the current teams, I like the “train wreck” teams. I like the brothers. They are savvy and good in challenges, but I don’t see as much personality from them.
Interesting that (other than putting the car in reverse) the teams didn’t really have problem driving stick shift this season.
At this point, anyone who begins TAR without at least one team member comfortable driving a shift car is a fool.

Did they ever say how much time is between the first and last team right now? I remember that they used to show the start times of each team at the beginning of each leg. Are they still doing that and I’m just not paying close enough attention?
I was sorry to see the sisters go this week, I found them really likeable.
