The Amazing Race 2025

For some reason, I am a bit skeptical of J&J’s constantly and sometime over the top cheery demeanor. However, they are amazingly good at everything so deserve to keep winning with Tucker and Eric gone. A bit boring when the only real race is for 2nd or 3rd. All four teams are likeable.

It may be their Sikh values and tenents.

I myself needed to get coffee while watching that roadblock.

I am curious what you mean. It is more that they seem to be so nice, but also involved in some dirty work (u-turning Izzy and Paige for no good reason, not supporting Kyland and Taylor after getting the express pass from them). I read something from Stephanie in which she claimed there wase some manipulation behind the scenes things going on which made it her least favorite reality show (after BB and The Challenge).

Izzy and Paige got married

Making it legal before they collect the million $$$?

Not a spoiler, I’m just guessing. May also be making it legal before we find out in the first minute of next episode that they were eliminated. Can anyone stop J&J? I’m hoping Joseph and Adam can.

If they won the $$$ it was months ago, and they just got married.

I didn’t like that they had a cliffhanger, so I cheated and read who was eliminated so now I don’t have to watch at all. Take that CBS.

The winners don’t get the money until after the episode airs.

Anyway, I cheated and looked to see the final finish 1-4, but I’m still watt

This makes me so happy no matter the AR outcome. I really enjoy them and their love and encouragement with each other was very evident.

The “to be continued” was unexpected and makes me wonder if Izzy team does upset Joseph team. Not sure why they would feel the need to draw it out…I think MOST people aren’t going to stop watching at the finale episode!

I’m not going to look, but out of curiosity - where do you find this information?

To me, “dirty work” implies they did something against the rules or something dishonest.

I didn’t agree with their u-turn decisions either, but they didn’t break any rules as far as I can tell. Did I miss something?

Spoiler sites abound. And given TAR operates in full view of the public, the spoilers are generally accurate

I was noticing this week that at the Pit Stop there was sort of a fenced off area a good bit behind Phil where there was a small crowd (50?) of people who were clearly watching. That was one of the first times I remember noticing that.

I don’t want to be spoiled. I blocked the TAR Facebook page because I can’t watch until Thursdays. I was looking in the background when they were at Notre Dame and only a couple of people were looking on and one had his camera up. There was a wide empty area but I couldn’t figure out how they kept people out and was no one curious about the clue box, or do they just put it out when a team is close.

The clue box is covered until just before the first team arrives and then it’s uncovered. After that, production is on the scene to keeps the riffraff away

I like Izzy & Paige - both as a couple and as competitors in the show. I really would be delighted if they won.

I think they’re my favorite!

@DadOfJerseyGirl you are correct that they didn’t do anything against the rules, so maybe i should have used different words. To me, those words just meant things to undermine players that did not match their overall demeanor.

I have read more about Sikh culture and underlying philosophy so that may have something to do with it. And some of it has to do with production trying to make things seem more competitive then it really is. For example, they were in the taxi and clearly in the lead when they were saying they had no idea if they were last.

I’m OK with Paige but Izzy has a bit of a temper that makes her less likeable, at least to me.

She lost her cool a couple of times on the route that looked ugly.

On a completely unrelated note—it was really cool to learn how Braille typewriters work! They were Perkins models, which I assume is connected to Perkins School for the Blind in Boston.
