The Amazing Race 2025

I just googled to see if Ana and Jonathan are still together because while she seems supportive of him he also seems to be on her last nerve at times. I found an article that says after the Race they began looking at his behavior and eventually he was diagnosed as having “Autism Spectrum Disorder.” And I can see the connection to the times when he seems most frustrated and lashes out. So I will dial down my opposition to them as a team. And praise her for seeming to put his behavior in perspective and not returning it.

But there’s still the opportunity to say that the leg isn’t over and they’re still racing, right?

The needle in the haystack challenges have proven to be brutal over the years. The brothers would have been out last week if Pops and Jeff had not hesitated and made the earlier metro.

I’m not sure if the bracelet was laying on top of the hay - it looked like that once but then it looked like the show highlighted
An area with a red circle to show where it was - but it may have not really
Been as visible as being on top.

I remember that, I didn’t remember that it was a “permanent” removal.

I will say so far they have had FANTASTIC travel IMO. The milking the goat with the 102 year old woman and yogurt treat was a nice change of pace.

100%! Amazing locations, fun challenges, and great teams.

Yes! Everytime I watch amazing race, I am turning around and telling H “We need to go there”. Japan, Bali - what wonderful locations. I wish they showed just a bit more of the locations.

Ana and Jonathan kinda sorta redeemed themselves in this episode but I still don’t like him.

And to the blue ladies – READ THE CLUE!!

I wished they had addressed how much of a penalty would have been assessed. They lost anyway so it didn’t matter, but I was curious – would it have been a two-hour penalty for each taxi ride?

I love how the blue ladies were talking about how good they were getting at reading clues while they were in the taxi.

Loved this episode too! And I appreciated that Han & her brother (whose name escapes me) had some integrity with the cypher challenge - it was the right thing to do.

Holden, I think

Good episode. Reading the clue so critical. Wonder how much it actually helped them to take taxis.

Surprised that at this point in the game teams are wiling to help other teams. I don’t recall the married couple helping Ana and Jonathan and likely cost them first place. While I think it was a nice thing to do, it is a race. Hopefully, they will be helped at some point.

A lot of running around and fairly easy/straighforward tasks in the beginning. The klek house was so cute. The main two tasks were very interesting. I found it surprising that Jonathan and Ana helped out the other couple - they did have the express pass, so I’d have thought they would have wanted them to use it.

It’s getting close to the end - 3 or maybe 4 more episodes?

That and reading a map and knowing how to drive a stick.

The challenges for the Express Pass have to be harder and potentially more time consuming so it does not become an auto for the team that placed first the prior leg. There has to be true risk/reward and the ability for multiple teams to compete for it.

I read elsewhere that the taxi penalty would have been 30 min per taxi and they took 4. I kept thinking at some point something will clue them in like seeing another team get off a bus or asking if others are having trouble getting taxis. But nope - clueless until the end. I’m sure their camera person was thankful though.

I have to agree with the D&D guys that this. is. a. RACE! It’s ok not to help other teams. But, unlike when TAR first started, a lot of racers now capitalize on their TAR appearance with social media and other activities and being a meanie will not help their brand.

I agree that the Express Pass needs to be harder and not at the beginning of the leg.

I’m going to admit, unless I missed something, I don’t understand why they helped the mom and daughter. It was so close
With the 3 teams at the library…one mishap
And the moms could have caught up
If they didn’t take a taxi!

Really some kind, likeable teams this year.

I guess I felt it was the right thing to do because they agreed to work together - true, it’s a game and they could have gone that way, but I’m glad they didn’t - today, integrity is sorely lacking and I needed to see someone with some!

Well I think I must have actually missed that scene where they agreed to work together! All I saw was just them sitting there really not doing the task at all! That makes more sense.
