<p>Cathi and Bill are very cute! I am very glad Amani and Marcus overcame their airport decision. Although I think it only cost them a couple of hours and likely they got to sleep indoors rather than outdoors. Luckily 2 teams got extremely lost. Definitely the bunny detour looked a lot easier than churning butter. Those bunnies were SO CUTE!! The snowboarder looked very charming doing the dances. Glad to see Laurence go.</p>
<p>Chiming in - glad that the arrogant Laurence lost. It’s ridiculous that he called some helpful stranger ‘bloody useless’ as he was asking for directions due to himself getting bloodily uselessly lost. He also ‘couldn’t believe it’ that someone u-turned them - this from the only team who u-turned someone in the previous game even though it didn’t help them a bit. Also ridiculous how he stated that ‘of course’ he would have performed the dance better than his S, this from the overweight, out of shape Laurence whose hardly the picture of gracefulness. I really don’t like how he essentially puts down his S with comments like this.</p>
<p>I like the personalities of Amani/Marcus but they really aren’t playing the game very well and are lucky to still be in it. I don’t see them lasting much longer. </p>
<p>I like Ernie/Cindy okay but I didn’t like the ‘stole the win’ comment since it wasn’t stolen at all, they clearly blew it on a couple of points last time - getting lost after using the pass and then not doing the u-turn of the surfers when they should have.</p>
<p>Bill/Cathi are doing better than I would have expected including ‘playing the game’ by u-turning. </p>
<p>The other couple who got lost will probably not make it either since they seem to be making a lot of mistakes. </p>
<p>The surfers are consistently and I think will likely win but Bill/Cathi have a pretty good shot at it as well. I wonder if the last event will require them to recall all the prior event details and which of those 2 teams would do better at it.</p>
<p>I liked Lawrence’s comment to his son while watching the rabbit jump over the hurdles…“This one’s on steroids!”</p>
<p>This has been a mellow group of teams so far. Maybe an overcrowded train or bus ride a la India might get things stirred up?</p>

<p>I wonder that, too, Last season, they didn’t have the memory task at the end so it will be interesting to see if they bring it back. I think that teams keep very detailed notes now, or they should be if they’re smart. </p>
<p>I like both Bill/Cathi and Marcus/Amani. B&C run the race much better than M&A, though, so I’m hoping they win.</p>
<p>I really liked Ernie tonight. Why do I like him now? He was so cute, and supportive, and cool under pressure.</p>

<p>Interesting tasks tonight! That bodybuilding - can I just come out and say, wow, those guys all looked pretty darn good and the women too . Can I also say, thank goodness Lawrence went out last week!!???</p>
<p>Yay for Marcus and Amani coming in first! Woohoo! OMG - the bodybuilding was NUTS. I have to say, everyone did look pretty dang good in those skimpy bathing suits! Cathi looked amazing for being her age! How mortified would you be, though - especially knowing everyone in America would eventually be seeing you on TV in a tiny swimsuit and socks! LOL. abasket, I said the same thing to my fam about Lawrence… ; -)</p>
<p>I knew this would be a continuation leg the second Cindy said “I’m so happy this leg is almost over.” Yep, she was asking for it! How in the world do you drop the train tickets you just bought?? I agree, Ernie is cute. He never seems to get stressed over anything. I wish I was like that! Also, I would have been throwing up for sure on the Lego ride - yuck!</p>
<p>Do you think there will be any penalty for riding the train without tickets? Probably not. Lucky break for them. </p>

<p>Ernie looked really good in his Speedo! You notice when Cindy screws up the doesn’t say a thing. When he screws up she’s all over him. I wonder if that’s really how it is or editing. I was wondering whether they’d get a penalty, too. If I was one of the other teams, I might have ratted them out!</p>

<p>Yes, Cindy and Ernie got sooo lucky with the train ticket thing. I was actually surprised they even got on the second train - I would have been beyond freaked out that someone would have stopped by to collect tickets! Good question about a penalty… guess we’ll have to wait and see. </p>
<p>The first thing I thought when I saw the tiny swimsuits - wow, there is no way I would have shaved my legs enough for that. Who has time to be worried about personal maintenance when you’re racing? Haha!</p>

<p>The Lego ride was crazy, I would not have done well at that. It was so funny that the snowboarders are so good at everything but struggled with the acting out of the poem and the bodybuilding challenge was so hard for them. They definitely have the bodies for the bodybuilding challenge!</p>

<p>Jeremy and Sandy got like a perfect or almost perfect score! But when they showed previews for next week, they highlighted all the teams doing a new task - except for Bill and Cathi (at least I didn’t notice them). Might not mean anything - I hope not!</p>
<p>I don’t think Ernie & Cindy will be penalized for the lost train ticket. They did buy the ticket & took the chance that the conductor wouldn’t ask for it on the train. In the past, teams that have run out of money have wheedled their way to get free cab rides, etc. without being penalized by Phil.</p>
<p>Kudos to all the teams for doing the bodybuilding challenge. I would’ve been mortified, with or without the ability to shave.</p>
<p>I’m sure manscaping had to be done, or America would be collectively grossed out.</p>

It makes you wonder if the show’s producers were involved behind the scenes on this one allowing them to continue since otherwise I think they’d have been out since they’re not allowed to use their own money to buy new tickets. It’s either that or they were in fact quite lucky.</p>
<p>I also wondered about Legoland - if the show’s producers had people stationed in a few places to permit easy parking, easy gate entry, easy ride entry, easy parking exit - as opposed to whenever I’ve been to Disneyland where none of these are as smooth as it looked for them and much more time consuming. </p>
<p>I almost thought the Amani team was going to be done in by the taxi driver who didn’t know the directions but fortunately they were able to get past that.</p>
<p>It’d be interesting to see some behind the scenes footage for this show and seeing what they do for location scouting, location prep, facilitation like what I just mentioned for Legoland, and how they handle the actual differences in time and extracurricular things like the camera crew fixing a camera or something as another poster mentioned.</p>
