<p>Dude are you crazy. Its common knowledge that US residents should apply to their state’s university systems to keep backup.</p>
<p>would have done that but i thought that the deadline was jan 1st so its bad luck for me.I have kept fordham as my backup.</p>
<p>I have a friend in Fordham. He says they have an amazing engineering facility. Plus its in NY.

<p>okay, I went of a couple of my uni websites, and they said, I can include additional docs or missing items with the application after a few weeks. specifically, “You will have a chance to provide missing materials without penalty” … so now what? do I rely on this, or send them via DHL? i’ve already used up about $700, i can’t keep on askin dad for more money! btw, how much will DHL take to send the certs to 10 unis? any rough idea?</p>

<p>a certain university has sent me an email, that i don’t need to worry; O’level grades on the transcript are sufficient, if it has the principal’s signature on it…and another asked me to fax it, or paste in the email, and it will be added to my file, along with my request. its surprising, unis aren’t out to get us after all! but i still have to hear back from the others! friggin $260 dollars for one piece of paper?!! omg … nope all my finaid deadlines are in feb, so not bothering with them now. have u sent any? if you do, plz help me with it wen i send mine! :)</p>

<p>Reading over my common app essays and all, I just realized that the last word of my common app short answer was cut off, and that I had 2-3 typos in the essays, even after lots of proofreading.</p>
<p>I guess I’ll have to apply next year. This has been the worst day.</p>

<p>ehh not much, couple of volunteering activities at school, tutoring, debate, i talked about founding a few clubs (slight exaggeration, coz it was just me and four other friends), learning french … no hook really, that can get me in. counting a lot on the essays.
@eatyoualive: u finished them. that’s wat matters. honestly, i was so happy after pasting my essays, i didn’t even print preview them before submitting</p>
