The CC clock is all messed up again.

But only for some people it seems.

Congrats on your deciding, Mike :)! And I’m not sorry the others didn’t work out, because everything happens for a reason. Yaaaaay!

I don’t know what happened to the clock and I don’t want to.

I should write about Obama in my essays, lolol.

I think you should write about unicorns in your essays.

I actually did write a unicorn story. Did you read it? I don’t recall.

I read the written-by-text unicorn story. I loled.

It’s insane how excited I am for Northwestern, all ready. Short term memory ftw.

Written by text?

I really should stop thinking about essays. Ugh. I have homework.

Wasn’t that the story you said you texted to your friend or something like that? Maybe I’m confusing unicorn stories.

Hokay then. Nevah mind. And I did write it by text, but I edited it when I gave it to you.

So are we going to get into hijinks at NU?

You are indeed.

Indeed is probably the worst word in the world.

Congrats to JB and Mike for surviving the college admission process, lolol. It seems to have turned out well for the both of you, and I hope you’ll enjoy the colleges you end up attending.

Today I had my oral commentary and I picked the hardest excerpt in the bunch. When I opened the envelope and pulled it out, I showed it to my French teacher and he frowned and then told me to “have fun” before he sent me to the little room in which I proceeded to panic for 20 minutes while writing down my ideas. Overall, I think I did okay, but I jumped from idea to idea and my structure was terrible (terrible). I fully understood the passage, though, which was good.

You betcha(wut2008culturalreferencelulz)!

I could get my M.A. in four years. Yay!

Thanks, Yak, I’m pretty happy with the way things turned out. Some advice, don’t look at the Yale thread, it’s not pretty.

I have a Socratic seminar tomorrow. Bleh.

I would feel funny if I went to college that close to home. I’m sure my parents would love it if my college were across the street, but I just think it would be weird to run into familiar people all the time. I suppose it’s different in a bigger city. How far are you from Northwestern?

I’m assembling a poetry portfolio. Lawlz. Speech and creative writing at my school should count for English credit. The fact that they don’t is ridiculous given their difficulty. Both classes are harder than my English class.

Mikey’s excited.

Yak, that sounds thoroughly unpleasant. In practice tests for Latin I almost never know what the passages say, though.

I’m a significant distance away from Northwestern. I don’t think familiar faces will be an issue, unless it’s friends at school with me or at Depaul, who I’ll be happy to see, obviously.

How long are you going to stay with Mikey? You’ll just confuzzle people when we’re up to hijinks at NU. Girls call me by my full name, and guys call me by my last name irl, Mikey is a friend of mine.

idk. Does it bother you a significant amount?

Not really, people I know from elementary school still call me Mikey sometimes. It’s more just confusing, cause I read it, and I think of my friend and then I think, how could snoop know him? And then it dawns on me that you’re referring to me, not the gigantic black kid who lives by me. It slows my brain down.

Socrates had too much time on his hands.

I see. I’ll call you Mike then, since apparently no one calls you that and I’m nothing if not an individual.

I make up bothersome nicknames for this kid I know but retaliation is brutal.

All right then.

So you’re a wanna-be bully? I see.

No, I’m a homewrecker, apparently.

Creed is priceless.
