Ugh…now the headshot questions have me stressed out. We have a full 8x10 sheet with no border and my D’s name is not on it. Is a label/sticker with her name printed on it ok? We can stick it on the back. Or would it look tacky on the front?

@CaliMTdreams My daughter went to a summer program where they reviewed their head shots and they said hers is good, 8x10, no border, no name. I’ve been low-key looking over shoulders at others at the auditions we’ve gone to (because I wondered myself) and I’ve probably seen a pretty equal number all ways (border/no border, name/no name, etc). I also saw a surprising (to me) mix of portrait and landscape - so everything goes!
@CaliMTdreams - the name on the headshot is in case photo gets separated from the resume, they know who it is. You could handwrite it on the back for that purpose using a soft marker pen.
Anyone else in the midwest going through the initial phases of panic due to the weather predictions for the weekend? S has an on campus audition at Ohio U on Saturday. About a 2.5 hour drive for us. I’m not so worried about the trip down as we will leave early, but the trip back (depending on which way the storm tracks) could be an adventure. Safe travels to all who will be on the road or in the air this weekend!
@CaliMTdreams My D also has no border, no name on the front of the headshot. Her name is on a label on the back & it’s stapled back to back with her resume (top center).
It seems like there are many ways to do this, I wouldn’t worry.
@CaliMTdreams : I think the label with name on the back is the best solution. Probably easier to read than handwriting. As indicated before, there is no magic to having a name or border on your photo. You just want them to be able to identify who is in the headshot should it get separated from your resume.

I am a newbie, but I have been reading these boards & find them very helpful. Thanks all! I spoke to an admissions counselor yesterday, and she said that Wagner hopes to have their emails out by Friday. She urged me to check my D’s spam folder if she does not get one. She also said that they have a new computer system in place and it is possible that it might not make their deadline. But, they are aiming for the 15th the latest.
Has anyone’s child had a Pace on campus audition yet? My D has hers on Monday. They indicated in the initial prescreen pass that she’d get more info closer to the day, but we haven’t seen anything. I’m going to call, but thought I’d check in with all you CC peeps for your perspective. Thank you!!
My D is auditioning at Pace on Saturday and received confirmation emails yesterday thru Get Acceptd.

Hello all! Just chiming in here. Went thru this process all last year with my son. I knew absolutely NOTHING going into this and we got a VERY late start. By late I mean recording prescreens in November and submitting some on the last day possible!?Obviously, I don’t recommend that but my son decided later than most to pursue this. My point is remember to relax and enjoy the process! Try not to sweat the small stuff. In the end it DOES all work out!!!
Regarding the headshot… his was 8x10 portrait, no name, no border resume stapled to the back so they can read it when they flip it over. Best of luck to all of you in your upcoming auditions and have fun at Unifieds!! 
We printed the resume on the back so didn’t have to worry about it separating. They aren’t going to care if there is a border or not.
@Mark80 We live in Southern Indiana. We are traveling to CCM on Saturday. Yesterday I was starting to freak out a bit. Today I am hoping we can get in and get home before it gets too bad. We are about 2 hours from Cincinnati. Where are you coming from? My son auditioned at Ohio University back in October and just got his acceptance letter yesterday to their MT BFA. does anyone do the ohio unifieds? are they a true audition or just a prescreen? seems to be a good collection of OHIO schools many w BFA in MT?
