False alarm! It was just the repetitive “congratulations on your academic acceptance” letter. Phew.

Just want to point out that in addition to some acceptances, small envelopes also carry nice little cards from admissions counselors, as well as letters saying we are still missing blah, blah, blah. We’ve seen a lot of small envelopes at our house.
@FROG65 Honestly, I don’t. I can tell you a lot about Viterbo as an alum, but I’m definitely removed from the particulars of what the faculty are looking for these days. There are about 12 in this year’s freshman class, but I know there were more students accepted than that.

Be careful when trying to read through envelope - it can say Congratulations but not be a BFA offer (yes this is a warning from personal experience)
Just a little encouragement for those of you still waiting for that yes or those wondering what to do if the right opportunity doesn’t present itself. My S auditioned for about 10 schools last year and received 2 “yes” responses and a 1 waitlist which turned into a “no”. He ultimately decided not to attend either program and took a gap year. Fast forward to this year - still waiting on responses from several schools but today got a “yes” from NYU Tisch!! Dreams really do come true & sometimes that “no” is really a “not yet”. Sending much love to those still waiting. Hang in there - these next few months are brutal.

D received her second “no” this week – CCM. But she’s handling this one perfectly fine and is focused on another audition this weekend. Looking forward to when she finally gets a “yes” somewhere.

D has an audition this weekend at GMU for BFA in MT. Does anyone know anything about this program? It doesn’t look like they have any musicals in their current or past performances.
@MTMom2019, If that is George Mason, is that a new program? I don’t remember them having a BFA MT.

Actually, I do have one. Any regrets with attending such a large program? It scares me a little!
D got 2 quick no’s today from Chicago Unifieds. She just thought it was funny to be rejected on valentines day!
@mteverlasting My D got her rejection from my alma mater on my birthday… “that’s ok dad, they were way down my list anyway” Ouch.
