@stevcoy I don’t know if every school is a member, but I found a member directory on the website. You can look up a school in question, and find out if they are a member. The ones I looked up are. 
@mommyMT - don’t give up yet! Those are tough programs, your D has had good results and I am pulling for one of those remaining schools to be “the one” for her. Because these schools make so few offers the WLs can move so really - Don’t give up!
@mauidad - I never said that! And that number (from MommyMT) for OK seems high to me too as I think all of NYU-Tisch gets about that many.
@mauidad about the 3200 applicants for Unv of Ok. I was amazed too! I just heard that so idk if it’s true, but I did ask twice to make sure I had heard correctly. A mom said they told them that at on-campus auditions. My daughter auditioned at LA unifieds so idk? I didn’t think to ask. I would love to know the numbers for all the schools she auditioned at. IF that is the case, the fact that these kids can even make it past pre-screens is pretty darn amazing! And has anyone heard no’s from Unv of OK yet? I think I read there were a couple yeses on here, but nothing else…
@4angels. We LOVED the on-site auditions! I loved meeting the other students! So much positive energy! Your list of schools is right on target as our thoughts. I would include BW and Arizona State Univ, as well. We live in CA and our D does not want to go to the east coast (no offense) so she limited herself. She literally drew a line of how east she was willing to go. ???.
@MommyMT. So out of 6 schools your D has 3 no’s and 3 that aren’t no’s. Last I checked if you bat .500 (baseball reference) they put you in the hall of fame.
@123jsy Pace calls started going out on Friday. They seem to call girls first then boys. 7 girls were called on Friday. I expect them to continue girl calls on Monday.
@7CHDals my d would not go any further west than IL and IN. My h said no SE or NE states. Good thing there are many options in the box they left me with!
@mommyMT I’m sorry your daughter is not excited about her options. Hopefully she’ll get off the waitlist at Utah or a yes from the schools she’s waiting on. I know personally there is no correlation between acceptances and rejections. Last Wednesday I was rejected from a lower tier program (not even redirected to acting, just outright rejected) and a few hours later I got a phone call from a top choice school offering me a spot in the acting program. Don’t give up hope!!
That said, if your daughter isn’t excited about her options, a gap year is a great option. I took one, and I think it was the best decision I ever made. I was able to really focus on preparing for auditions. It also gave me time to improve on my weaknesses and just mature a little bit. I felt SO calm, confident and prepared going into auditions and I truly credit the gap year for it. I was also able to get a full time job, which allowed me to contribute financially to the process as well as get a taste of the real world (and start saving for that NYC apartment lol). I’ve been able to travel a bit and just have a chance to breathe after high school. A gap year was the best decision for me both as an artist and a person and I can’t recommend one enough! If you decide to go that route don’t be afraid to reach out:)
Is anyone here interested in Penn State wait list updates? I believe they only wait-listed 3 boys and 3 girls so if nobody else here cares I’ll just keep them to myself. lol.

BW made it very clear at their info session that they would not start making MT offers until the end of the day on March 7th. So I’m a little leary of this info

They can. And it’s clearly rumor mill. Would have sent Debolution a PM but couldn’t from my phone. sent you a PM boola boola. Hope what I wrote makes sense. Didn’t think that would have an impact on anyone else other than another PSU waitlister. Take it all with a grain of salt.
@boliermom S did not apply to BW so I haven’t been following their news. That info certainly helps me tringulate my own information. Thank you very much.
Perhaps BW person was admitted in December (in that early round of notifications) and just decided to commit? I know more than one person who got the early admit to BW (for example @artskids son) - and decided to finish their audition season before committing.
BW made offers in December to kids who auditioned in November.
@Boilermom @DadOfMTboy I would imagine those early BW offers came from Moonifieds audition in Dallas in November . They always get early offers
I’ll defer to the BW applicants/experts on their process. It’s secondhand info and while we are all grasping at any info we can get that may give us even the littlest bit of insight into this grueling process, I’d certainly hate to freak anyone out with incorrect or incomplete info. So again, take it all with a grain of salt.
