<p>Anyone watch The Closer? Last night started the countdown. Now only 5 episodes left. 
I love this show.</p>
<p>Any thoughts on who is leaking information? I’m not sure who the leak is but I really, really don’t want it to be certain characters. </p>
<p>I also understand there will be a death. I’m thinking it might be Brenda’s dad.</p>
<p>Any other fans here?</p>
<p>Love The Closer. I’m watching right now…had a committee meeting last night.</p>
<p>I love “The Closer” too, although I think I like the peripheral characters (like Julio and Tao) better than Brenda.</p>
<p>I had not heard that someone in the cast was going to die. I hate to hear that! It was hard enough when Brenda’s cat died.</p>

<p>I can’t watch it until tonight, but I have been in mourning since I heard it was going off the air. It has been a great show.</p>
<p>I’ve convinced myself that Commander Taylor is the one who has been leaking the info. After all, he’s been after Brenda’s job since day one, and has been a constant backstabber the entire time she’s been a chief.</p>
<p>As for who dies, I suspect that it’s going to be one of Brenda’s parents, and that she will then decide to move back to Atlanta to spend more time with the surviving parent, with Fritz going along, of course.</p>
<p>Anyone going to watch “Major Crimes”, the Closer spin-off? I have loved to hate the Raydor character for so long, I have had a hard time adjusting to the fact that I am supposed to like hernow.
Apparently a lot of the cast is going to be the same. It should make watching this season interesting looking for how the new show will fit in with story lines.</p>
<p>J.K. Simmons (Chief Pope) and Corey Reynolds (Detective Sergeant Gabriel) won’t be making the move to Major Crimes which makes me wonder if one of them is the leak.</p>
<p>The surprise - for me, at least - is that Jon Tenney (Fritz) is listed as a cast member on Major Crimes. Shouldn’t he just follow Brenda off into the sunset or something? At least, I can mark him off as the character who dies.</p>
<p>I think Pope is the leak. I will definitely start Major Crimes when the show starts in the fall. Capt. Raydor is growing on me…</p>
<p>I’m betting on Pope as leak, also. He did not like when Brenda ended up on the short list for Chief of Police instead of him. I think he started the leaks so that she’d be discredited second time around and he’d be back in the running.</p>
<p>I really like Gabriel and don’t want him involved in any dishonorable way.</p>
<p>I’ve totally ruled out Julio as the leak - he’s had Brenda’s back on anything questionable she’s done.</p>
<p>Capt. Raydor has grown on me, too.</p>
<p>Maybe Brenda dies.</p>
<p>High school aquaintance is senior writer/producer type on Closer and will be on major Crimes. He is very bright and hard working and a super nice guy as well. It’s fun to see him thriving in LA-LA land!</p>
<p>In several interviews there has been talk of Kyra S. doing a guest appearance on Major Crimes–so I don’t think she dies. I hope not, love the charactor.</p>
<p>I’ll give Major Crimes a try, Capt Raydor is growing on me, different approach than Brenda, but interesting.</p>
<p>Count me in as another who will watch “Major Crimes” (after all, Tao and Julio will be there too).</p>
<p>I really like the character development of Major Raydor. Remember that episode (“Death Warrant”) where she shoots some bad guy with a bean bag gun? She was great.</p>

<p>Haha. Major Raydor is apparently growing mor popular. I too am beginning to like her. Great writiing/acting.</p>
<p>Will Flynn and Provenza still be with the new show?</p>
<p>Yes. The only two not coming back - Pope and Gabriel.</p>
<p>I hope that Brenda is finally able to get pregnant. They were following that issue a few years ago and then nothing was mentioned last season. I think her father dies, he had cancer last season and her mother will stay in LA to help her with the pregancy and birth and then Fritz will be able to stay in LA since he just got a promotion.</p>
<p>I didn’t like this week’s show. 
and I love The Closer. Please tell me I’ll be happy with the rest. Major Raydor is growing on me also.</p>
