Good afternoon! If I were to win the scholarship, I would use it to fund my dreams of attending university. As an immigrant and first generation student, the possibility of going to college seems bleaker and bleaker due to my financial situation. This scholarship would help me achieve my dreams and hopefully help me avoid a larger debt for my parents.

My goal is to graduate college with an aerospace engineering degree and work for either NASA, the Air Force, or a defense company. I know that I have the capability to achieve great things in the engineering field if given the opportunity to learn from the best. The next step along my path to success is to enroll in a prestigious engineering college such as Purdue or UIUC. I would use the scholarship to fund the tuition at one of these Universities. With your support, I can pursue my passion and shape the future of aerospace engineering.

As someone who is starting to apply to colleges, the daunting numbers of how much a semester of college will cost is haunting. Throughout high school I’ve been pushing my self to take all of the discounted college connection courses that are available. I know that with the more credits I go into college with, the less I will have to take pay. If I win the $1,000 I know that I would put that money into my tuition. I would like to complete my masters in forensic chemistry and with the extra support of this scholarship, some of the financial weight will be taken off my shoulders.

I have always valued education, and all of the opportunities it offers. I have excelled during my time in high school by receiving high honors, awards for being student on the year in classes, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 4.19 and hope to further my education in college. In college I hope to not only learn about my major, but to also network, and be prepared for the professional world. I want to travel abroad during my time in school, and after school I ultimately want to be an entrepreneur. While my long term goals involve traveling the world while pursing business, the obstacle at hand is the costs of college. I plan to use every source of financial support to help move me toward my ultimate goal. While every aspect will have a cost, I will use the $1000 to help contribute to additional college fees such as books, supplies and housing.

I would use the 1,000 to put toward getting my college degree in Special Education. I do not have anything specific to put it to as of now but I know this would be a great step towards getting my degree.

I would use the money to fund my post-secondary endeavors. The $1,000 could help me discover and attain a much broader pool and allocation of resources—such as exam fees and future tuition.

If I were given the opportunity to receive this scholarship, I would use it as aid to cover my tuition for college in order to minimize my student debt.

I plan on working toward pursuing my dreams of becoming a dermatologist. I have always found myself interested in skincare because I struggle with my own skin with acne, eczema, and rosacea. Due to this, another goal of mine is to create a skincare brand that had products formulated for all skin types, but especially for sensitive, acne-prone skin. This scholarship would help me move forward in my journey of medicine and dermatology.
