I think I missed the boat on this. Anthropology has these hats where you pick a base hat, it has a snap on the top. Then you pick Pom’s for the top. But all of the poms are sold out!
Besides, you have to spend $100 for free shipping and there’s not that much I see that I would want.
But I think those hats are cute and different

@Nhatrang, glad my 16 y/o D only wears Hollister Jeggings. Looks like the really slim leg is going out of style. Of course we are in West Texas and very behind the times…
Why is everyone “Glad”?? Those pants aren’t revealing or anything like that. The models that make them look sexy but normal girls don’t stand like that, ever!..

SOOO glad to hear Docs are cool again! I had S buy a pr before leaving for school and he says he wears them alot. Not having lived in a cold climate in forever, I had no idea they were cool again. S also got a pr of LL Bean boots for his bday this week. I also spent a TON on new socks b/c he wore all white while he was here & it drove me nuts! It just didn’t occur to me that we didn’t buy him any socks to wear w/ Docs or boots. Yet another problem living in hot climate for so long! LOL
Both my kids are getting AirPods w/ wireless chargers too. The eldest is getting a 2-in-1 charger for his phone & pods, while little S is just getting the single pad. I went out on a limb and bought some skins for the Pods as well. Hope they like the ones I picked!!
Little S is getting an Echo and light bulbs (That cracks me up to type!! what 12 yr old wants light bulbs! But they’re Smart ones.)

I’m exhausted! Spent my day mostly on the sofa ordering online (which can make me grouchy after awhile) as it’s cyberMonday. I actually prefer “real” shopping but we have a lack of brick-and-mortar stores where I live. What should have been easy was complicated by the fact that so many great items are already gone in Ds size/preferred colors already. But relieved to say that I was able to get most of her most-wanted items eventually.
On several occasions today I was tearing my hair out, with my credit card not being accepted. The light bulb went on when I got a text addressed to my husband (we don’t share a phone!) asking him to verify whether he had tried to make the last three purchases. when I replied “yes” the orders went through. Had the same trouble with the next order, so I put his name instead of mine and the order was processed, no problem. GRRRR. We share a credit card in BOTH of our names. My card has MY name, not his on it. He’d better call the company tomorrow to get this sorted out (as they obviously regard him as the “legitimate” card-holder, and likely wouldn’t listen to me. Double-GRRRR). We like to simplify our bills by having joint cards but IDK if that’s a good idea.
@inthegarden - we ordered a different carry-on suitcase for DH than he was first looking at b/c he didn’t want black, light blue or purple! HW picked a different one that is in a sort of khaki tan/green color.
Bummer it just showed up here for $20 less than we paid. In “what’s old is new again” my 22 year old daughter asked for a leather “fanny pack”. So I think that is an “in” item this year. Bought one for her and one for my DIL.
Has anyone else ever heard that if you followed the trend last time it was in, you’re probably too old for it now?
It seems like we just went through the sneakers that were incredibly bright, and now we are back to nursing white… I can’t keep up.

@jym626 You got a good buy on that suitcase, kudos to you. I’ve spent HOURS online looking at carryons for my daughter. She wants to look cool, so I’m getting her the hard shell she wants even though it’s less practical (no outside pockets!)
