<p>Crystal31: The topics are for the supplementary UChic essay.</p>
<p>^^There are college supplements, and then there is the CommonApp. CommonApp contains all the statistic parts of your application along with a couple of essays which is common for all colleges whereas college supplements are college specific. Every college has its own supplement which contain about 3~4 essays on average.</p>
