<p>Hey rew, glad you think so highly of Duke. It truly is a great school with an outstanding future (just received a 50 million dollar donation yesterday!). As far as the Karsh scholarship is concerned, students from India are definitely eligible to receive it provided that they demonstrate financial necessity and meet Duke’s rigorous academic standards.</p>
<p>^Agree with the above posters. Duke is actually a very good school. Pratt and Trinity, both are highly respected. If you ask me, it is no less than an Ivy in any way.
Even the sports team is a pretty strong contender! :D</p>
<p>I was actually lucky enough to witness a basketball game when I was there visiting a friend. The atmosphere was just indescribable. Sports really bind the entire community together and are ingrained in the fabric of the university.</p>

Meh. I applied to tons of schools. Ivies+ Colby+ Mac+ top 3 LACs.</p>
<p>Prospective major shall be Biology or Neuroscience. </p>
<p>Meh. I guess I am hoping too much. My SATs are far more pathetic and my all over app has nothing as such impressive. I really hope I make into atleast Mac or Colby with some aid :/</p>
