He’s asking if you’re going to join Class of 2018, which you are. :)

If you wish to apply to multiple colleges with one common essay, then you do it through CommonApp. And the common applications open up typically on 1st August every year. Also, you still would have more essays to write, may be, specific to each college’s requirement.

You can figure out your chances on your own. And that you do by matching your profile with the Freshman profile of each of the colleges that you are interested in. The profile typically would be the quantitative elements like GPA and SAT scores. And your chances keep getting better the more your profile fits the top 25 percentile of the freshman class.

Also Class of 2018 translates into those college students who will graduate in May of 2018, most of them, who are fall applicants. Further to that is you have to be High School Class of 2014, meaning you will finish your Class 12 in March-May of 2014.

I’m writing the TOEFL tomm morn. Any last moment studying tips? And yeah, I have a running nose. Will this affect my speaking section?

Different Essay requirements? I thought every university had an “any other” option. Please shed some light on the same. :D

And Do the other ECs like answering questions on Yahoo, photography etc. count? Ive actually answered a lot of nice questions about Science, Mathematics ( Few college level too) :D. A lot. Please advise. Thanks In advance. (P.S I can’t provide links to my photography page since it ain’t allowed on CC.) I’ll PM those who need it. Just lemme know. Its quite a nice page. You should see it. :D

Different essay requirements like word limit and stuff.
Yes, the photography thing does count. You can also send a portfolio alongwith your app.
PM me the link. I would love to have a look. :)

There is one CommonApp Essay.

Then for each college you have on your list, will have their own specific requirements. For example I can tell you, for my D’s application at Stern, NYU, she had to write 3 additional essays. So on the whole, if i remember correctly, she had to write 8 additional essays for the colleges she was applying to.

So it could also be that the colleges on your list might not require any additional essays.

Oh! Yea I’m an 18er then…

Please give your suggestions… It would be great if you tell me the name of uni which has spring intake…

By The Way it USC is my dream uni …but I’m not sure if they take freshmen in SPRING

I got 26 - Reading 27 - Listening for an official timed test. Is it good? Will post rest of the scores. :D

What’s the required sat score for USC? (Comp Sci)

There are no ‘required’ scores for schools. Look at 80th percentiles, but there is often no ‘minimum’ score (or at least, these schools won’t release them).

Oi good luck Indie!

And online help counts? I mean I’ve helped a lot on XDA :p
