<p>Anirudh and ASP, you obviously didn’tread the post as carefully as you should have before calling it “blasphemy”. By what stretch of imagination does the statement above indicate that I consider myself “certainly in the top 1000”. As a matter of fact, it is quite to the contrary.</p>
<p>Besides, I did not post that statement just for the heck for it. SM asked me a question which I answered. And in case you missed it, I said that answering that question was a “risky thing at best”.</p>

<p>UCAS does have a deadline but that is Jun31 … the Jan 15 th is the priority preference deadlines and coleges do consider even now and after…</p>
<p>As of IITs… well sid didnt say he was in top 1000 sure… he said … he wanted to be … and wud be lucky if he got that coveted 3 digit rank … and that was in reply to my question…</p>
<p>anirudh… I would say there is one more thing to consider before jumping on to colgate… u will get a BA degree at Colgate in ur computer science whereas u get a BS or Btech elsewhere… thats coz colgate is a LAC… </p>
<p>But well if u compare Colgate with say NIT’s i wud say Colgate only… though until u dont have problem with a BA… </p>
<p>and with aid def colgate again… coz its a greater achievement and my friends there have told me that youll learn much more than u wud have thought of …</p>

<p>its the british common app system…u apply to all colleges through it. You have to write one personal statement, get one counselor rec and fill out the grades. Very easy…much easier than US apps</p>
<p>yep,very very well organised…excellent…and wats more if u get rejected by ur six choices,u can apply for places under extra which are sometimes worth it…if u get in no where there is a cearing process but i dunno if THATS worth it…</p>
