The Indian Thread (TiT) # 15

I got set 2.

set 1.

I got the 2nd set, but it would be way different from your sets. I’m happy with anything I get. :p

You’ll get a 90 and you’re not happy?

my final exams are form march 7th…XI sucks!

Reporting from English Language. Great paper, no problems, should be (with Board leniency and all >95 ish) :D

Great to hear it was a good Phys paper. :)

Literature to come, Shakespeare, Grey, Tennyson and the lot, here I come!

now it’s chem time… any idea how to scrape through those last two chapters… all those drugs…

Chemistry is Of Suck, truly. I hate the blasted subject (at least very soon I’ll be (almost) rid of it!). Physics is my second-favourite subject (favourite is Maths), though, so I am sort of justified in hoping for very high marks. (Bio, on the other hand…eck.)

Shrivats, I really sort of hate you right now. :stuck_out_tongue: English. (And Board leniency, hah; I got 80 on ICSE English, which is really quite disgraceful. I didn’t think my English was quite that bad!)

ajayc – if 11th sucks, wait till you meet 12th. ;)

Ah well comparative board leniency. Comparative to my school correction anyway. I think only 3 people in the school’s history have ever got 90 in Literature in school exams (Too modest to mention who one of them is :P). On the other hand, come board time, and somebody regularly gets 96 at least in English. So comparative leniency.

My Rankings:
Bio
Phys
Math
English
Chem :expressionless:
Environmental Education :||||||

And that’s about it…

For the non-emoticon literate :D

Favorite subject: Physics (I’ll probably double major in it)
Least favorite: EVS (Though that’s an obligation not a subject, so in reality, I suppose Chem)

I don’t agree with you on Maths < Physics (Maths! Is cool! Watch me use too many exclamation marks!), but word on everything else. I could almost write a book about how thoroughly horrific Chemistry is, but I shan’t. :D

I think I will then.

The title: Well, haven’t thought about that yet. :)

I like math well enough, but I know enough of it to know I’ll never be a mathematician, but I think I’ve got it in me to be a physicist. That’s the difference for me as to why P>M (Though of course, I won’t end up a physicist, but, you know…)

I’m just basking in the glow of writing a wacky essay for my board exam. (or at least an essay about globalisation that had a caveman as its opening character :D) Hopefully the paper won’t go to Bihar…

For me it goes something like this:

English:
Biology:
Physics and Maths:  : (that’s equal to 1.5 emoticons)
Chem:|
EVS: :|

Lets all bash Chem. I HATE Chem.

When’s your Chem exam then; tomorrow?

are you guys all under the Indian system, even those guys who live in Dubai?

There are basically two main boards of education in India (CBSE & ISC)

Lakshya’s in CBSE, Shrivats and I are in ISC.

yeah it was an easy paper. i will get 94-95. but while it was easy it was an irritating and boring paper to write. except for a few questions.

Chemistry sucks… but over the last one month, strangely oh so strangely, it seems interesting… esp the funny names… now there’s this Ullman reaction (#@#$%#) I dont rem wat it’s about (well I’ll check it out straight away)… and it reminds me of that question in quiz… an Oscar winning actress with surname Ullman… now this post is fuzzy… Heisenberg cometh…

I like Chemistry. Don’t bash me, please :). And English! I love English! Maths is pretty okay, too! And Informatics = computers = <3.

It’s a coupling reaction… and correction: Oscar nominated
