thats a point lakshya… moreover, cc is bound to crash.

thats a point lakshya… moreover, cc is bound to crash.

Abhi- how many Indians in Penn?

I’d rather not use a chat room so us and future TiTers can come look at what we were going through on the 29th.

Yeah, it would be more interesting that way. Provided we didn’t have a Total Server Meltdown, o’course.

Hey guys, I have a question. I rushed my SATI and II scores to the likes of NYU and Emory, because I retook them. Now on my second try I got a 2020, which is better than my first of 1720.

Will they consider my second score?

Although I am not qualified to answer this, the answer is probably no dda, sorry. They have probably already wrapped up admissions. Of course there is no harm in trying, but that ws just my two cents.

Now then:

2) Congratulations Noldo! Have a great time at Caltech

@dda:

I am pretty sure you can definitely try your luck , email them and send out your scores ASAP , there is always a chance they havent gone through your application yet or would reconsider it if that is the case.

Thanks, everyone who’s been congratulatory. I’ve been pelted with IMs and emails from all quarters, really, and it’s a bit frightening but very cool. :D

rama_GB – March 29/30 is the release date for the Ivies, Duke, UC Berkeley, and UCLA, among others. So, er, rather a fraught day!

Haha, guys I think you misunderstood me. I’ve ALREADY sent them. Except I sent them couple of days before the deadline. That’s what I’m worried about, thats all.

Ah then it’s fine. They’ll consider your second SATs.

@Noldo: 'Tis not every day we can talk to a genius after all… :p

By the way, (I’ve got a visceral hatred for btw :)), hang the chatroom. CC forever! Let’s bombard the server to kingdom come.

Rama GB: Duke and Northwestern on the 28th, Ivies+Berkeley on the 29th, JHU, Rice and Stanford on the 1st. :)

Ah well, I’m a thread killer again today it seems.

(Does the cycle of thread killers seem remotely reminiscent of that curve again? :D)

Is there anyone in the chatroom as of now? And whats the link to the chatroom?

Heyyy, Congrats Noldo… Caltech had to accept such a geeky gal I’m sure you’d love Pasadena… it’s such a wonderful place…

This year has seen the brightest bunch on TiT… MIT, Stanford, Caltech… All the major tech universities have been conquered…

:)

And hopefully the Ivies will be as well. :)

So that is what March 29th is!! Ok then, now i understand why you plan to crash cc that day

And on the previous day, and on the 1st as well. :)

Never let it be said of a TiT user that he/she ever shied away from overloading a server… :D

Heya Noldo, Congratulations ! That package looked really nice…dreamy look

Guess I’ll have to wait for a few more days then. Or hell, I’ll just pay the deposit for Georgia Tech :D

And I’ve just discovered I’m an uncle for the 5th time today! :D:D:D

Ah the vagaries of Indian families. :)

TiT’s the first step to world domination, bas, clearly.

snerks at Shrivats Indian families, indeed. Mine’s actually rather small, but I do have a nineteen-year-old aunt at Harvard, so.

Just uncles and aunts? I am a grandfather(pats pagdi, feels beard and then shrugs)

Space: Penn takes 58 south-asians; at least 40 of which must be Indians. But it’s because Penn has the largest incoming class.

I love Penn, but i screwed both short answers…

Damn

I’ll wager that I’ve got the most cousins out of any of you lot! (do I get brownie points? :D)
One ex MIT, 1 ex IIT, 2 ex BITS, 1 Columbia, so on and so forth…

19th year old aunts? I was an uncle at about 10 or 11!
