Karthik – you’ll have to look at things based on your intended major. Not many of us know much about Brown, but I do agree with pinku2002 on the prestige of CMU’s Computer Science programme – if you make it there, there are very few things better than that.

To everyone – is it true that Cornell has an age requirement? If so, well, damn, that was a waste of an application fee. :p

I don’t know about Cornell, but I do know that Duke (was it?) has a lower age limit of 17 for you to stay in one of the dorms (and I’m *just *old enough) which is moderately strange.

Har har, bas. (They are, though – I mean, Berkeley/JHU/Duke/Penn/Caltech but not Cornell? Bit strange.)

I expected all three of today’s rejections, though, so I can’t say I’m incredibly crushed – UChicago because international + aid ----> lim P(acceptance) = 0 (:D); Princeton because, well, it’s Princeton, and I screwed up the interview; Cornell because I’ve been hearing about the age thing from four or five sources, and I think they do have a limit.

I suppose we’ll post a detailed list of selections/rejections/waitlists from this thread next week and then the thread will be closed! Right? :)

Hey guys so how mani of u got jakked by d coll. decisions ??
Anyone got into Cornell/Berkeley ??

Thats the login site for UCLA. Decisions were up last night. Good Luck.

@ twins - With the Berkeley Reagents how much are looking at paying? (per person of course lol) Oh and congrats on your decisions. It’s on of those options where you can’t really go wrong. And aren’t you going to pursue your Yale waitlist?

Shrivats – I’d take the Berkeley Regents simply because the cost would be pretty awesome if you prove your financial need (which I assume you can), and it has Perks and stuff – and you can’t really go wrong with Berkeley anyway, it’s a great place. Otherwise, Rice > Duke > Penn, I think.

News of the day – my class’s valedictorian was rejected by Berkeley/Yale/Cornell, waitlisted by Columbia. I’m considered a lot less intelligent than she is, overall. So NYEH, school.
