Ivanka has said she believes the women. Do you think this will sway any voters?

“There’s a special place in hell for people who prey on children,” Trump told The Associated Press in an interview otherwise focused on tax reform published Wednesday.
“I’ve yet to see a valid explanation and I have no reason to doubt the victims’ accounts,” the first daughter and presidential adviser said.
I’m not sure if you are referring to the local interviews I mentioned, @MYOS1634, but to answer your questions:
Either all the interviewees were white or maybe one or two were part/all African American (sometimes it’s hard to tell ethnicity or race).
It was evenly split between young (20-30ish), middle, and older (65+). And it was pretty evenly split male/female.
One female interviewed said she had always voted R but would be voting D in this election. One younger female said she wanted to wait to see if more evidence came out before she made her decision.
Everyone else said they were voting for Moore.
Keep in mind that non-white voting in Alabama is abysmal, as is young voting…
Thanks. Yes, I meant local interviews. Because we got snippets in our non Alabama market and all the people looked white to me and mostly older (50+?) so I wondered if that was representative of the video broadcast in Alabama. Also, the ABC affiliate in Alabama is owned by Sinclair, which to tthe right of Fox (Sinclair is taking aim at Fox’s market segment via local news) and would have some benefit in judiciously editing to favor Moore, in order to project strong confidence in him. On the other hand it could be that people truly support him becuse they want to support him and nothing else matters.
I guess if I didn’t want Roy Moore to get elected, I’d go convince college students and people in the Black Belt. Not sure how that can be done, but a door-to-door campaign can work. Perhaps Kander’s group is working there. But I simply can’t imagine young people or college educated people voting for a homophobe who used the local mall as his personal hunting ground, molested a 14-year old, and targeted vulnerable teens
The fact African Americans don’t vote much is surprising to me, since Alabama has been ground zero for civil rights and voting rights.
I too am waiting for 538’s analysis of polls aggregates from the past week.
I heard they give Doug Jones only a 3 in 10 chance of winning.
Do you remember that a couple of years ago Alabama became one of the states to require a driving license or state ID in order to vote? And that they then closed in the offices for getting one in the counties where 75% of the registered voters are African-American, making it harder to get the documentation necessary to vote?
http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/results/state/AL/president/ has Alabama exit polls from 2012 (none in Alabama for 2016) that found that 28% of voters were black, 95% of whom voted for Obama, while 68% of voters were white, 84% of whom voted for Romney.
Of course, voting patterns may have changed since then.
Two more women came forward. One says he asked her out when he knew she was 17. OK, his proclivity for dating minors seems well established now.
A second says she was in his office with her mother, when she was 28, doing some legal business when he grabbed her butt. A minor offense, but creepy if true.
2008 and 2012 were anomalous years for African American voting. They came to the polls in huge numbers, relatively speaking, to support President Obama.
…And he was married when he did the butt grabbing of the 28 year old. These ladies corroborate what we’ve already heard. The fact that he was grabbing women after he was married emphasizes for me what a hypocrite he is. Some one has already mentioned his wife was in high school with the 14 year old victim. He married her when she was 24 and the mother of a young daughter. I hope the daughter escaped his attentions.
@emilybee " ^ I believe it was the 16yr old (the waitress) who is wife was in school with. "
Yes, of course you are correct. So many teenagers it’s hard to keep track. The waitress with the yearbook. On Hannity Moore denied knowing her or the restaurant, which is still in business. Today his attorney claimed Ms. Nelson is a liar because Moore handled her divorce when he was a judge. What a lawyer!
I realize his preference is for teenagers but I was taught in an investigator’s class that pedos often seek out women with small children. That particular detail is chilling.
