When these supporters say “the constitution,” what are they talking about? Obviously, not the US Constitution. Moore was impeached and thrown out TWICE for not following the US Constitution.
ETA: My comment about Mrs. Moore’s education level was to point out she has no accounting or marketing or managerial experience. Not hating on high school graduates.
Hard to tell what actually happened without looking at the books of the charity. News articles rarely tell a full picture, especially in national media like NYT, WAPO and Breitbart. His wife is paid $65K/yr as president. @OspreyCV22 , what does college have to do with managerial or accounting, especially when the person would have graduated high school 30+ years ago? Most people acquire that experience through working. Ask any small business owner.
That “charity” is one of many reasons why he shouldn’t have won the primary. It was reported that he received money from the charity, even though he lied and stated several times over many years that he did not.
I’m not sure if the charity is technically doing anything illegal, although it’s sure sent up many flags. It should be investigated.
Charities and political figures don’t mix as it leads to so many potential conflicts of interest and seems to be used as a method to hire family or those people who help run your campaign.
Please tell me there is more than one way to understand Moore’s thoughts on when the US was great:

Did you hear his campaign spokesperson being interviewed by Anderson Cooper last night? It was mind boggling bizarre. H had turned it on and I listened for a few minutes before having to leave the room. Couldn’t listen to her one more minute.
She was hired to be a front protecting him with women voters. Clearly she wasn’t trained very well because all the questions Anderson Cooper asked were pretty predictable (basically, he went through various quotes Roy Moore has made in the past 15 years or so) and she flubbed every single one. However, I doubt Alabamians watching CNN were going to vote for Roy Moore in the first place so no one will have seen that who needed to.
Regarding Janet Porter, I am SHOCKED that there actually is somebody more annoying than Kelleyanne Conway. Kudos to Anderson for keeping his composure.

“when families were united – even though we had slavery” Besides the nostalgia for slavery, Moore completely ignores the fact that slave families did not have any choice whether they stayed united or not. More dog whistle to the base base.
