My parents got it. I didn’t.

And it was just saying about the test, not the test itself.

^that was awkwardly phrased. It wasn’t the actual test, just informing us about the test.

And does anyone know anything about the chapel requirements?

@mrnephew I think it is once per term you must attend a religious meeting.

Alright, they said something about religious credits so that’s what I assumed. Thanks.

2 separate things; there is a chapel attendance requirement and a religion/philosophy course requirement.

I heard Lawrenceville had a medium/large party scence on weenkends and fridays. Not at the school rlly but I heard a lot of kids crash Princeton parties. Is this true? :)>- by the time I’m applying, you’ll be in like sophmore year, if I visit and I Met you, that be “…interesting.” xD

The if I visit part is bcuz I’m low income and in california, so it’s not likely. Virtual tours will guide me! xD :))

By Princeton, do you mean the town or the University?

Because I’m sure that there’ll be parties in the town of Princeton, and I wouldn’t be surprised if people went to the university’s parties. But I’m relatively sure that it’s only common among a minority of the students.

I Mean the University.

Kids rarely crash princeton university parties… if at all. normally day students will just have their own gatherings with other day students/other kids from princeton… but boarders are stuck on campus most of the time.

also, Seniors are allowed to travel in cars with day students

That’s not that big of a deal for me, really. I mean, it is a 700 acre campus. Plenty of things to do.

Same here. I’m not really HUGE on parties myself, though I’m definitely extroverted.

And I had no idea about the chapel requirements (though I knew about the religious class requirements). I wonder if you can attend a religious gathering of something other than Christianity. I think attending a Muslim “gathering” would be interesting (I don’t know what it’s called when you meet in a mosque).

@greyeyedgoddess Prayer Service

@skieurope Ah, thank you.

Does anyone know where it says on the website that you have to attend a religious service? I’m curious about what atheists can do.

Chapel is required at L’ville. Yes, there are a variety of services available. See the Student Handbook pg. 30. http://www.lawrenceville.org/data/files/gallery/ContentGallery/201314studenthandbook.pdf.

They told me they had a philosophical meeting for atheists in substitute of chapel.

Interesting. Though, I’m super interested in different religions (not your typical atheist), so I’d probably end up attending a bunch of different religious services.

I’m Christian, but I wouldn’t be averse to attending a buddhist service. I’ve always wanted to learn actual meditation.
