I just realized that it was the 2300th post… Keep it up!

Well 6 students got an interview call from my school. And let me clarify about lums, sse admission. This year, around 490-500 students were called for an interview out of which, around 250 stdents will be admitted.

and yeah, congrats theGAME!!

Thanks yaar!! Really appreciate it :)

hey the interview call letter makes it clear that EITHER we will be admitted OR waitlisted and nothing else…!

@free: Yes your friend is in! They called to ask me to submit additional documents to be given the financial aid I requested. This implies that I have been granted admission and now they are sorting out the FA jargon. So feel ‘free’ to congratulate your friend!

@everyone: Sorry folks, but 15-18 students from my campus got the SSE call - in short, almost everyone
looks at nrmcpr with pride

so game may you inform us of the enviable scholarship? :D

and how could i forget the post!!!

@flibb: Premature congratulations to all the SSE interviewees! On average, the Ivy league has an acceptance rate equivalent to (actually less than) LUMS, so it’s something to feel proud of! And yeah, I thank God for his blessings!

@theGame

May be that is because there are a lot of smart students at your campus:P… but generally it is not almost… 4-5 students from my college were called for SSE interview…

plus… Congrats theGame!

Yes yes yes, they have such a low acceptance rate. congratulationzzzzzzzzz!!!

Thank you everyone! takes a bow

Yeah and by da way :P,
Wots da thing in LUMS for students who apply on da basis of the SAT?? Like are they put in the same pool as those who’ve cleared the LCAT and then all of them are evaluated according to their grades??

Nope. If you have a score greater than or equal to 2100, you are essentially in. Yes, they can’t possibly reject you - promise!

Congrats…you just got in! Feel free to celebrate!

just posting

Hey, theGame, how did you get you LUMS decision- by mail or online? People in my campus are getting nervous that LUMS is taking so long and you can hear the word ‘LUMS’ being whispered in quite a few anxious conversations.

**** em lol they didnt call me for interview :((

@nrmcpr: Call from FA office. They said they needed a few documents to award me my FA requirement. That means I already had the admission in the kitty, of course.

@sniper: Don’t worry, I know many people physically (as opposed to digitally like here on CC) who didn’t get the call either. As a matter of fact, SSE is more tough than recession-hit MIT.

theGame: Have you checked your appli status online? Okay i just did yesterday, a friend asked me to. When i checked last week, it was all blank and nothing updated. Yesterday i checked, it had been updated and they say my original SAT 1 report is missing. I checked college board and they say it has been sent to LUMS on 18th of November already!!
What da hell??
I wrote to them and also attached a copy of college board’s history of sent scores where it clearly says they’ve been sent the report on 18th!!
