The official Pakistani Thread for the class of 2013

Btw flibb, are you too hopeful for a few Ivys?

lol, no please Game, too bad I didn’t possess your ‘wisdom’ before and applied to em, but no, no hope…if I wasn’t accepted to Lafayette, then no chance at Ivys :smiley: (btw, no offense to the two K’s ) :)

Lafayette is pretty tough to get into esp. with aid. That is why I am puzzled why so many Pakistanis have been accepted. Maybe Lafa is taking fewer Bengalis and Nepalese this yr. Who knows. Whatever the case, a rejection from Lafayette is no low a point. At least you gave a shot. You’ll probably have much better luck at some other place - a place not yet discovered by Pakistanis, maybe? ;)

I heard you get a real good chance if you apply somewhere no Pakistanis have been so far! What do you guys think?

That might be true, but I have yet to hear of a uni which currently doesn’t have a pakistani :D

@ Flibb
and can we know which uni are u talking about?

Hi!
I am a brown male, 18 yrs old, from Islamabad, Pakistan. I like long walks on the beach and I am interested in fe…oh sheet! This isn’t that kind of website!(at this point I would have used a smiley but I don’t know how to)

Add Colgate,Oxford, MIT and 5 in Mcgill to the list of accepted ppl from the School Formerly Known as Beaconhouse Margalla.

@aak
well man, first clearify me what do u mean by formerly known as Beaconhouse Margalla…isnt it Still the BMI?

and so MIT is already added in the list with the name BSS Margalla. and about others, are you sure so that the list may be updated?

@MindHunter:
Well, my point was that there is NO university in the world where Pakistanis don’t apply or are currently studying in :D

@aak
and ya man, tell me about the one who got into Oxford, is he a candidate for the Noon and Oxford Reach Scholarship?? Plus what are his credentials?

@ Flibb
well man ya i guess you are right.lol

Oh, sorry. Didn’t see that MIT had already been included.
@hunter
The A-level section was shifted to Banigala a few months ago. Its now known as Beaconhouse Mohranur. BMI now only offers classes till O-levels.

@hunter
This girl who is wicked-awesome in math. She’s from a central asian country and her govt is offering her a full scholarship if she chooses to go to Oxford.
Not too sure about any specifics though regarding achievements and scholarships

Updated according to aak’s info. But I have not updated the 5 in BSS Margalla for Mcgill. Can anyone confirm about whether are these the same which are already listed or not?
